La Brasserie is without a doubt one of the best French restaurants in the city, and, as a local, it ranks highly in my favorite restaurants' list. As expected, the various starters are terrific, especially the escargot, the mussels and the steak tartare. The entrecotes are tremendous. I would definitely highlight the wine list.

The food here in very good. The menu is quite large and a lot of choice... The service is very columbian and slow... As a European this can be frustrating worth a visit though

Had a great Thursday evening with 6 friends. Tried to get reservations but my friends were told they were unable to accommodate but if we showed up by 6pm they might be able to seat us. Naturally we were there and were seated. Service from beginning to end was excellent. The atmosphere is great but if the restaurant gets crowded... More

I have been trying to find another restaurant that makes Steak Tartar better than the one in la Brasserie Bogota, and there is no way! They make the best one!!! ( I live in Miami and travel very often to Mexico )

Large menu and great service! Huge wine list. Waiters speak many languages so no problem with translation. Many politicians there on Friday night so it is the whose who of Bogota.

The whole restaurant experience excells in this place. The service is impecable, the atmosphere is upmarket but relaxed and the food is never a miss. What ever dish you try at this place is always good. However nothing compares to the delicay and full taste of the sea food risotto. MUST try!!

Every time I travel to Bogota I always try to go to this place . It reminds me to the classic French restaurants in manhattan, near by my block. Beautiful baguette that comes with an excellent tapenade . This time I had the bouef bourguignon and let me tell you that it was out of this world . Great wine... More

While the restaurant can tend to be a bit pompous and require reservations at all hours (it must reserve seats from Bogota's elite), the imported American steak options are worth the fuss. The "ojo to Bife" (Ribeye) is available 50% of the time and it is good. The tempenade olive dip and fresh baguette while you wait for the main... More

Often times, I find Bogotanos equate quality with price and conspicuous consumption. If that is your standard, then La Brasserie is expensive, crowded. If your standard is service, execution, and grace, La Brasserie is just decor with so-so food and ghastly service. Simply: La Brasserie staff consistently failed to execute the most basic fundamentals: service, courtesy, attention. True, the wine... More

This restaurant is in an area with many others. My wife and I walked around looking at menus and wine lists and chose this one to eat at. They have a nice wine list at reasonable prices. We shared a chateaubriand which was quite good, if a little tough by our standards. Our waiter should have been a lot more... More
