While the restaurant can tend to be a bit pompous and require reservations at all hours (it must reserve seats from Bogota's elite), the imported American steak options are worth the fuss. The "ojo to Bife" (Ribeye) is available 50% of the time and it is good. The tempenade olive dip and fresh baguette while you wait for the main... More

Often times, I find Bogotanos equate quality with price and conspicuous consumption. If that is your standard, then La Brasserie is expensive, crowded. If your standard is service, execution, and grace, La Brasserie is just decor with so-so food and ghastly service. Simply: La Brasserie staff consistently failed to execute the most basic fundamentals: service, courtesy, attention. True, the wine... More

This restaurant is in an area with many others. My wife and I walked around looking at menus and wine lists and chose this one to eat at. They have a nice wine list at reasonable prices. We shared a chateaubriand which was quite good, if a little tough by our standards. Our waiter should have been a lot more... More

This is a busy restaurant with pretty good atmosphere, a friend of mine invited me to lunch, we arrived on time and was put to the open área although my friend made the reservation for the inside dining area, The food was just so so but the wine was good, service was regular because one waiter manages many tables, Price... I have been going to this place for years. It is a nice place, very well located in what is becoming a new restaurant zone in Chicó (Av. Carrera 13 entre 85 y 86a). It is always crowded, you need to make reservations. Normally we go during the main lunch time, things are swinging. But this time, we go there... More

We went there recommended by the reviews of tripadvisor, the restaurant is well decorated, service was professional, but food was not as good as how people described, my prawns were too salty, my friend's fish filet was too small and tasteless, however price is nothing cheap, so they must improve their food quality to match this category graded!

Lovely smart restaurant in the Zona T, not cheap but not particularly expensive either. We had the Argentine chorizo to start- just the right size portion for a starter- and the chateaubriand for main- very good steak cooked exactly as requested, accompanied by delicious home-made chips and various steak sauces. The desserts- chocolate fondant and creme brulee- were good too.... More

This is the fourth time I dine at La Brasserie. I always go there while I am in Bogota for business. The place is always packed, so make sure you book in advance. Food is great ! Authentic French cuisine. I love everything about this place. If you like French food, go there !

The restaurant is located in the heart of Bogota's gastronomy area, they reserve a very big varieties of wine, almost all what you could name. Right after you entered the restaurant, a manager will greet you and asked about your reservation in a friendly manner, the decor is elegant and comfortable, we were located in the garden dining area, the... I hate giving an average rating to a restuarant that comes highly rated by other Tripadvisor reviewers, but my visit to La Brasserie was unremarkable. The greeting on arrival was lukewarm at best, the service was average and no-one bothered to wish me farewell. You might say that is typical for a French restaurant, but in my experience it is...
