Very good sample of typical Colombian fare

We usually stop by Club Colombia on our visits to Bogota. It has not changed much over the years. It's located in an original hacienda house near a major shopping center - Centro Andino. We had the traditional Bogota dish, ajiaco com pollo, a soupy affair with corn on the cob, chicken, avocado... read more

Mostly locals here. Good Atmosphere. Arrived asked for english menu and they do not exist. Waiter had no english skills (yes I know we should have better spanish skills). Was lucky enough to have local columbian couple next to us that helped us with menu items. Waiter ignored us after this. He unfortunately took it personally. His name was Deidio... More

You won't see any poor folk here but the food seemed very authentic. Atmosphere was relaxed in some of the rooms and quite lively in others. I'll always return to this spot when in Bogota. Love it

Nice environment, specially in the terrace, to have a business or friends lunch, with good service. Great Typical Colombian food. Last visit I had empanadas bogotanas, great as appetizer and Ajiaco, all with a couple of Club Colombia Roja beers. This place is frequented by locals what in my opinion tell us the quality of the food

Many of the hotels and agencies recommend this place, with cause. When we went for lunch it seemed that we were the only tourists. Menu in Spanish only, but they will find you someone to speak English. Food is excellent. Recommend the salads, ceviche , fish, chicken dishes. Expect a lot of food! Well frequented by locals, which says it... More

Had a large bowl of San Cocho soup. Beef shortribs in a thick soup with corn and potatoes. Very filling but so flavourful. Three kinds of empanadas with spicy salsa. Great. Fresh juices and wonderful Colombia coffee. Located in an old mansion. Absolutely beautiful. This is another restaurant from the godfather of Colombian cuisine Harry Sasson. He was wandering around... More

Heard great things about the weekend brunch, and when I called the restaurant, I was told that they had something similar but smaller during the week -I has leaving on Fri-. If it hadn't been by the egg fried corncakes that we paid for separatedly, I would say the complimentary buffet at the hotel where we stayed was much better.... More

Was at Club Colombia for a business breakfast, this is one of the few places close to Zona Rosa/Zona T that I could find that were open early in the morning. They have a very nice buffet in an open area, so it is a nice place to have a business breakfast. They have a nice variety of fruits, Colombian... More

We ended up here because another typical Colombian food restaurant was closed and I'm glad that happened. The location is beautiful, very close to Zona Rosa. The service is good (not great) but the food was absolutely delicious. It has a big menu, but my favorite was the Carne al Trompo. We were 7 people (6 Colombians and 1 American)... More
