Excellent dinner in Parque 93

Very nice, upscale restaurant around the block from Parque 93. Ask for a table near the water wall, as it is nicer than the front dining room. Had the Rollos (Spring Rolls) to start and the tuna as my main, both were delicious. Highly recommend it if you are staying in the area and want something a... read more

It is not only the taste of the dishes. It is the dish the colors the wine list... The service, the way that you feel the only guest. If you ask for the VIP reservation they will give you a perfect privet dinner place.... you feel at home. If it is not the VIP the other tables are also wonderful.... More

Unfortunately the restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night so the atmosphere wasn't all it could have been but the food was very enjoyable, great value compared to London prices and service was excellent - on par with the best restaurants I have been to.

My friend and I went to Matiz to treat ourselves to a nice dinner in Bogota and we were very impressed. The restaurant is in a lovely, ivy covered home. Our table was near the waterfall on the covered patio - beautiful. We did the tasting menu, so I cannot attest to the quality of the a la carte menu.... More

The restaurant itself is in an old house which was converted to a restaurant. The ambiance in the restaurant is very romantic... it's dimly lit and small, but very comfortable. The seafood in this restaurant is very fresh and nicely presented. The seared ahi tuna was perfectly cooked and delicious. The wine list is extensive and appeals to many different... More

....But for now I would say that it is overpriced. I had a special menu which was composed by: foie gras as the first dish than lobster with a kind of noodle as main dish and an orange foam for desert. The first dish was spectacular. The best foie ever, it smelted as butter on my mouth and some coarse... More

Matiz comes highly rated in TripAdvisor, and deservedly so. We had three excellent raw dishes (carpaccio of salmon, ceviche of shrimp, tuna tartare), and they were all outstanding. Probably the best dish we had was the Enredo Rojo - octopus with quinoa. The Alejandra dessert was a great way to wrap things up. Oh, and the pisco sour was superbly... More

Excellent ambiance and location, waitstaff friendly and helpful but most of all come here for the food, exqjisite. Order the tasting menu for a detailed and interesting explanation of the dish.

This was an excellent choice since it was by far the best food we had on the entire trip. The restaurant was reasonably fancy. We ordered the menú degustación or tasting menu. It was an 8-course meal, beautifully presented with every plate as delicious as the last. It cost approximately $65/person (USD) and was well worth it as an equivalent... More
