Would like to give this 4.5/5

Had a really good meal here while it poured with rain outside. The service (despite our mutual linguistic challenges) was excellent and our server helped in picking out the right tapas mixtures and advised us against an additional dish as it would be too much. He was right. Mushrooms, dates with... read more

It's a shame that after coming here for a number of years the owner decides that now it's become really popular with well-off tourists and-ex pats that he puts the prices up to unacceptable levels. The service is great, I think the waiter's name is Manuel, and the food and wine is also very, very good, but I hate it... More

I love this place. Every I visit to Bogota from the USA I make it a point to come here. The food is excellent! My favorite is the steak pieces in the blue cheese sauce. Also, the potatoes are a good one to get because a lot of the other dishes are small (as expected) so they add some heartiness... More

Good service, food and quiet location. Do not expect a traditional Spanish Tapas Bar. This is a more "modern version" and the owner is from the Neatherlands... Papas Bravas and the Tapa of Jamon Crudo are very good. Is not the cheapest place but is within range.

Our party of 5 really enjoyed this place. The wine recommended was above average and the food was terrific. We had the prosciutto ham, the chili shrimp, the calamari and the patatas bravas. Plan on everyone ordering one item and sharing with the table. There seemed to not be enough ventilation and the smoke poured out of the kitchen into... More

La Taperia is an excellent restaurant! I highly recommend Patatas bravas Mejillones Lomo en salsa azul Champiñones Off course serve with the best sangria based on rose wine.

We found this restaurant by accident. Our hotel was close by and the first night we walked in we only wanted to get a drink. They were closing but they let us drink a beer there. The owner was nice and helpful in giving us directions to get safely back to our hotel. Since the staff and owner were helpful... More

La Taperia is by far an excellent place for tapas. Although it's not so easy to find the place, which is by the way located in a good district but not so close of the historical center, it's worth it. At the beginning, you might be surprised by the setting, which is not conventional neither typically Spanish neither Iberian. But... More
