Tapas is what makes this a famous place (hence the name) and also its sangria. The best thing about La Taperia is that the food and beverages are excellent and the prices are wonderful. For less than USD50 two people may enjoy food and wine and be very satisfied.

I decided to visit La Taperia mainly because of the live Flamenco music on Thursdays and Saturdays. The food itself is good, but the quantity for each plate is very limited and for two people you most likely you will need to order at least 3 tapas to get some sense of fullness. My remarks about the service, the waiters... More

We found this small tapas place (actually the owners are from holland...) but the food was really good and tasted like the real spanish one!-- Patatas bravas, shrimp, cheeses and good wine. It is located in the city center (closer to the old town) so if you are around try to visit--I was amaze of how cheap it was for... More

It is a nice place to grab a beer or hang out with friends. I went early in the evening, it was not crowded and my toddler enjoyed the minipizzas. The mushrooms canapés are amazing. Could have any option of fresh juice other then limonada and ventilation could be improved as smoke comes out of the kitchen filling in the... More

Pleasant waiters; inventive and perfectly executed tapas. One of the nicest places to have dinner and wine with friends in Bogota.

It's a shame that after coming here for a number of years the owner decides that now it's become really popular with well-off tourists and-ex pats that he puts the prices up to unacceptable levels. The service is great, I think the waiter's name is Manuel, and the food and wine is also very, very good, but I hate it... More

Had a really good meal here while it poured with rain outside. The service (despite our mutual linguistic challenges) was excellent and our server helped in picking out the right tapas mixtures and advised us against an additional dish as it would be too much. He was right. Mushrooms, dates with bacon and potatoes with mayonnaise were all very well... More

I love this place. Every I visit to Bogota from the USA I make it a point to come here. The food is excellent! My favorite is the steak pieces in the blue cheese sauce. Also, the potatoes are a good one to get because a lot of the other dishes are small (as expected) so they add some heartiness... More

Good service, food and quiet location. Do not expect a traditional Spanish Tapas Bar. This is a more "modern version" and the owner is from the Neatherlands... Papas Bravas and the Tapa of Jamon Crudo are very good. Is not the cheapest place but is within range.
