It´s a pity when you have high expectations for a restaurant, and just because of the poor service, the whole experience is missed. The staff seems to believe they know better than the customer regarding likes and dislikes, to the point that they don´t listen to your order because they are pushing for the "recommended dishes". It was weird that... More

Right when I was about to give up on Colombian restaurants and actually enjoying meals in Colombia, La Taperia just hit a grand slam in my books and renewed my passion for eating great food again. On my recent visit, I was immediately charmed by the intimate atmosphere of restaurant. Small tables, an open kitchen and an artsy attention to... More

I recently visited Bogota and was introduced to this restaurant by a friend. We arrived around 9 on a Saturday night with four other friends. The staff warmly greeted us as we entered the restaurant. I was quickly drawn to the paintings and art on the wall and the hip and sophisticated design and feel of the restaurant. We ordered... More

The food is very good for the price and the atmosphere is nice as make you feel warm and alive. When it's too crowded the service could be some how slow but overall is an excellent choice

The place looks like a typical Spanish tapas bar from the outside with the legs of Jamon on display in the windows. As you walk in, it resembles more of a sophisticated and modern, urban bar. The service was great and the atmosphere was buzzing. My girlfriend and I had three 'raciones' - the prunes enveloped in jamon, beef in... More

I had a truly outstanding meal here during a recent visit to Bogota. The patatas bravas are a tapas standard, but these tasted better than any I'd ever had. Same for the White Sangria, which I usually hate but could not stop drinking here. Other winners included the octopus salad and the eggplant with Spanish cheese. Only the mushroom tapas... More

I lived in Spain for a few years and this place is like traveling back to one of the hip tapa places in Madrid. We got seated by an authentic spaniard who knew a lot of wines and suggested many delicious things to try. The Serrano ham is amazing, the cheese is to die for, please try the eggplant tapa...... We went for lunch and we had a great experience here. We tried many Tapas, and I would recommend the calamares, the patatas bravas and please please do not miss the datiles covered with bacon and cherry tomatoes!!! I'm still thinking about them! =The jamon serrano and the mini-pizzas were delicious too. There is not Sangria on the menu, but... More

Just had a few tapas here late in the evening. Really good cooking. Drinks may have been a bit over-priced

Recommended. Go try it out. Nice dutch touches to the list of beers served, and anjers on the table. Overall, you can just see that this is a well managed business serving great quality food.
