This place has the best ceviche! I am quite picky when it come to ceviche and I was blown away by our meal. The service was great and prices were descent and they had English menus.

This restaurant is on Calle 69 above 7th in Bogota. The entire street boasts some of the best restaurants in the city. 69 is not big, situated in a former house, like the others in this neighborhood. The decor is upscale modern, with many plants, lots of light, and comfortable, intimate seating. Two of us ordered mussels, which were divine,... More

I had my second meal there last week, and it was as outstanding as the first. I had the rice and seafood dish (made spicy at my request). One of my companions had the salmon, another the grouper, and both declared their dishes one of the best they'd ever had. Sofia personally waited on us, and she provided excellent recommendations.... The food was very good. There were several problems with the service. The value is medium-low, as it is very expensive. For that price, i expect better service. First of all, we ordered mussels, but asked if they had soft bread. (They had served us delicious crackers and crispy bread with three good dips.) They said they did, and we... More

She will prepare the food as you want or as she wants!! Either way outstanding food and choices. This one lived up to it's reviews and then some. In a safe quiet neighborhood. Near JW... More

On my recent trip to Bogota I went to this restaurant twice because it was so delicious. The shrimp with maracuya (passion fruit) sauce was to die for. The scallops were perfectly done. The mussels were exquisite. All the entrees and side dishes a group of 6 of us ordered were delicious and beautifully served. The service was excellent. The... More

I first went to Restaurante 69 two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh seafood and fantastic service and it's still excellent. Make sure when you do, don't bother with the menu, just ask Sofia, the owner/chef what she would recommend. Tonight it was mussels in a tomato broth with the 'best french fries in the world'. It was fantastic;... More

After asking the server, "What is the pasta of the day?", he pardoned himself and brought out the head chef. She politely asked how I like my pasta and we negotiated exactly what I was hoping for, a spicy shrimp linguini with pomodoro sauce. The pasta was fresh and cooked to al dente perfection. The shrimp were large and plentiful.
