Comparable to Canada's Tim Horton's. Nice to get a good cup of coffee at times. They also had good sandwiches and cool drinks that were often needed sometimes in the extreme heat of the Caribbean Coast cities.

Hello there! Lots of people claim this is the best coffee in the world. However, it is ok. We visited a Juan Valdez at Titan Mall and i ordered a Fruit Frappe of Lulo and Apple (Lulo y Manzana) and when I saw the guy take out some aluminum bag of syrup, I said "Oh no"......Everything in Colombia tends to... This cafe is a great place for people watching, but also has the best espresso and cappuccino in town. The staff are very friendly, and willing to recommend different coffee experiences. This is a must on any trip to Bogota.

I love the Colombian version of Starbucks! Try an espresso macchiato with areqipe. Basically it's a shot of espresso with a dollop of foamed milk and then topped with areqipe (Colombia's version of dulce de leche). Delish!

Two of my favorite places for coffee are dunkin donuts and Juan Valdez ! Love both places. I prefer JV when I'm in Colombia though;)

Fantastic chain of truly superior quality Colombian coffee and not the mixture that one gets at Starbucks. They have a variety of coffees from the various coffee growing areas of Colombia and a little store where you can coffee realted prosucts and shirts etc... Great service, great prices and they are everywhere. I went to a few locations in Bogota... More

In fact this coffee shop is so close to the hotel that my cell phone was picking up a fairly strong Marriott wi-fi signal. I was tasked by my helper in Lima to pick up some coffee so I stopped by this cafe. A diverse choice of coffee varieties and sizes are available for purchase. I bought four different kinds.... More

Colombian sister in law stated this is the best coffee I'll ever taste. I didn't believe until I tasted it for myself. It's like magic and coffee mixed together. Hands down it beats Seattle's coffee, Coffee People, Dutch Brothers, Peets Coffee, Stump Town, and Starbucks. I'm addicted and waiting till a storefront is established in my general area. But until... More

This is a typical Starbucks-type store. But Juan Valdez is local and serves much better coffee, similar to what Starbucks sold in Seattle before it expanded worldwide. I had a great cup of Colombian coffee here and a delicious chicken empanada. I found the staff to be friendly, and one man spoke excellent English. Even a customer added to the... More
