Rich flavors at Juan Valdez Origenes

The reviews said Juan Valdez was the best place to go for a good cup of coffee, and even our local tour guide said it was the place to go for Colombian coffee. We visited the original location, and enjoy a cup of coffee. This is a coffee chain, and the food is not great, but go for a "tinto".

The coffee is served cold, prices are expensive, the service is delayed, I think it is only known by utilizing the most famous Colombian coffee brand in the world, but there are many more places to get fresh hot coffee and better food

Good coffee but literally a South American Starbucks. Coffees good but over priced. Find a nice cafe anywhere else and get yourself a cup for half the price same quality.

Don't get me wrong... I like Starbucks, but when it comes to coffee Juan Valdez rules! The concept is the same as Starbucks except it is owned by the coffee growers association of Colombia and they know coffee. My home is in MIami and I travel quite a bit international on business,,, there is one in Terminal D! In Colombia... More

I have on purpose visited this shop for buying coffee as the locals say it's the best you can have not just in Bogota, but in whole Columbia. And I did :) They have also cookies to eat while enjoying the coffee which you need to try out ! And a lot of coffee machines, mugs and other very nice... More

There are many locations in Bogota. We went to the one near Parque de los Periodistas (under the Hotel Bh Bicentenario) and the location near Parque 93. Both offered excellent service. The Parque 93 location is bigger with more outdoor and indoor seating. I wanted to buy some coffee beans to take home and couldn't figure out what was what.... More

Great coffee, wide selection of coffee and other drinks. More, the cakes, muffins and biscuts, they are excellent!!! A must have, the 'torta de banano' (banana pie), it is delicious. Be patient, few people serving, unfortunately

Strong coffee that appears to be a little over-roasted. For some reason the milk they use tastes different, but still tasty and satisfying. Their desserts are excellent. I especially am fond of the Oreo Cheesecake. The friend I was with bought 5 bags of coffee to bring home. They ground and resealed all the bags. I thought this was really... More

Not only can you get coffee and a sweet snack here, but you can buy the coffee in a variety of sized containers, as well as gift sets. It is usually busy.

This may seem almost a cliche to those of us who have seen Juan in commercials on TV. This chain is not spectacular but serves a good cup of coffee for a reasonable price.
