Best coffe quality in Bogota

Besides an amazing choice in coffee menu you could try arepas with cheese, almohabanas a local bread based in tapioca and cheese blend. More local pastries and goodies are available and there is a good opportunity to combine this plates with your coffee.

Great place to pick up coffee beans to take home for yourself or as gifts. The layout and order-at-the-counter service style is similar to international coffee chains. A comfy place to recharge your energy.

I am not a coffee drinker but the hot chocolate is top notch, highly recommended and the sandwiches are very good, try one if you need a quick bite!

Before you enter the ample location, coming up the big fly of steps you can smell the coffee. Their granizados are a million time better than the american fraps. And if you are a serious coffee aficionado you will get your fix with the tintos.

I went here on a recent visit to Bogota on the last day touring the La Candelaria area. Recommended by the locals. Place has great ambience and excellent coffee. I bought some of the coffee to take home as well and must say that it beats starbucks. Highly recommend and buy as much to take home as you can afford... More

Juan Valdez is a place to stop and have a good coffee. This brand is well known around Colombia and outside of Colombia. I was checking the flavor , aroma and taste of this coffee. The service is good , prices are affordable. This coffee shop tries to give to coffee drinkers a moment of relaxation during working day. I... More

Colombia is known for its coffee but there are better places to drink it than in Juan Valdez Cafe. I had an insipid iced coffee. The decor is attractive and the cakes were good but the coffee left me wanting better coffee in Colombia.

I can't believe people say is a good coffee. I think is the worst espresso ever. The don't have a minimun idea of how to make one.

The reviews said Juan Valdez was the best place to go for a good cup of coffee, and even our local tour guide said it was the place to go for Colombian coffee. We visited the original location, and enjoy a cup of coffee. This is a coffee chain, and the food is not great, but go for a "tinto".

The coffee is served cold, prices are expensive, the service is delayed, I think it is only known by utilizing the most famous Colombian coffee brand in the world, but there are many more places to get fresh hot coffee and better food
