This is a tiny and familiar restaurant. Customers like it because they feel like at home. It is the first tapas bar in Colombia and is well known by its contemporary menu, composed by traditional Spanish tapas like tortilla, Serrano, but also by its creations. They even have their own version of patatas bravas and they are actually very famous. The Serrano salad, the white fish in basil oil with asparagus and dried tomatoes, tha lamb burgers etc. Tapas go along well with a cold beer, a glass of sangria or wine. If you want to have a unique and personalised experience come to Tapas Macarena. Feel free to order what you want, ask the waiter or the cooks. And something else, the music is really nice.....

Every dish a treat

A small and cute hole in the wall. A massive wine variety if that's your poison. You can watch the chef cook each meal! Of which none were disappointing. Service was great and price reasonable, not super cheap but worth every penny. Definitely a treat.

This place is small but big in service and quality. Delicious tapas! I really recommend this place. Be careful with the Sangria, it tastes good but makes you feel dizzy soon. However, you must join sangria with tapas!

Pretty quirky little place.. has no more than 8 tables adding to a very homely feel, you can even see the kitchen which certainly adds to the charm. their drink selection isn't particularly varied if drinking wine is not your thing.. but if it is then you'll be satisfied I have to say the tomato sauce they give to dunk... We had the palak paneer, foie gras gyozas, and suckling pig. All three were great. The wine choices were unique and delicious. The ambiance was perfect. And the service was outstanding. Dani took his time with our questions and each dish came out individually and not in a rush giving us time to enjoy the meal as slowly as we... More

This review is actually for the sister restaurant across the street - El Mat. Started out with a delicious sangria. My son was very pleased with the beer selection and chose the Duvel. The tapas were influenced by the cuisines of the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and South America. My favorite was the carpaccio res which was served with carambola... More

Every dish more delicious than the last and great wine. We ate at the sister restaurant 'El Mat' and were given the choice of either menu. Menu at El Mat is tapas with an indian twist and we ate some great dishes from this menu as well as the traditional spanish tapas which we ordered and was brought over from... More

First, this is the kind of cozy place that makes you feel comfortable. No hustle and bustle! Second, service is great. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. BUT the best feature of Tapas La Macarena is... their food! It's absolutely amazing! We started with patatas bravas. Then, we got duck and lamb. Both were tender, moist and flavorful. In fact,... I have visited this tapas bar on a number of occasions. My favourite is the duck but there is so much excellent food to choose from that you're spoilt for choice. I was surprised to find it had a 5-star rating on its TripAdvisor certification. I'd only ever encountered a 4-star rating in restaurants across Colombia on TripAdvisor. Doesn't surprise... More

Very special place. You pay for what you get, small, delicious, unpretentious with an accommodating host. We arrived early without a reservation and he was able to fit us in, recommend some delicious tapas and wine. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and would recommend it.
