This small restaurant is also the base of a design bureau. The fusion food served here is an amazing mix of the most delicious Colombian flavors. Coastal recipes meets traditional fruit desserts, along with some delicacies that are exotic even for the locals. I have lived here for a long time and this place is a revelation.

Since I came back for living in bogota after a few years away, everybody always been talking about this restaurant. When I finally went the experience was good. Friendly staff, delicious food and good environment, what else can you ask for? The only "negative" thing is the lack of parking. However Mini Mal is highly recommended.

Though a good taxi ride away from our airbnb in Candelaria, Mini Mal was absolutely worth the trip. Serving creative, delicious meals from locally sourced ingredients, the chef at Mini Mal sends out beautiful plates with even better tasting meals. This is the moment to trust the serving staff and the cooks - tell them what you're interested in and... More

Fantastic restaurant with an eclectic assortment of tipica-Colombian-fusion dishes. They emphasize pescado y camarones, but the chicken and pork dishes were terrific as well. Flavor pairings were unique and in line with their "experimental" approach to the culinary arts. Waitstaff was ultra-friendly. Ambiance is casual. Make reservations if dining after 8pm; it filled up even on a Tuesday.

Excellent service from a friendly server who chatted about Salsa Choque with us while we watched the Real Madrid match. The food was an interesting mix of cuisines from around Colombia. I would go back.

The food is really authentic, the "copoazu" juice is a must. Good to share with friends and try the entries.

We went there for an informal business meeting over dinner and it was perfect. The place is extremely hip, the menu is very interesting with lots of regional flavors, and the service was great. The place is tucked away in a residential neighborhood above the Cra 7a. The small rooms were cozy and made it easy to have relaxed conversation.... More

After taking 2 different cabs and trying to find this place over the course of an hour, we were a little disappointed in our meal. We had expected Mini Mal to be amazing based on reviews/friend recommendations. It was good, just maybe not what we expected. The appetizer we had - plantain balls with crab - was really good. We... I've been here twice--two different trips to Bogotá! Love it! The waitstaff is exceptional--they treat you like royalty. The prices are perfect, but the food is outstanding!!!! The appetizers are the best part--along with the special cocktails of the day. In fact, there's hardly room for a main course!!! Superb!!!

We loved this place. The best appetizer was a recommendation by the waitress - fresh raw fish layered on thin cracker-type things (that might have been plantains). For dinner we got chicken over mashed potatoes and it was delicious.

This place isn't what it is hyped up to be. The food lacks flavor and the service, while friendly, is not attentive. We tried several dishes and there was just nothing special there. If you are going to be spending so much money (comparatively for Colombia), you are better off going to Andres or another well-known Bogota location.
