A little bit of Perú just west of Avenida Caracas

Given the decadence of the trendy Peruvian competition, this is probably the most authentic home style Peruvian cooking in Bogotá. A quirky restaurant that looks like a shed bolted onto the front of a house in a completely nondescript but accessible part of Bogotá. Chicha morada and Peruvian... read more

The food is authentic and wonderfull. Service is good but the place is cold, so wear warm clothing. Prices are appropriate and rather on the cheap side.

Although the prices of this restaurant match those of the finest restaurants in Bogota, it's food and service are terrible. When we arrived for our reservation the restaurant was closed and we had to wait 20 minutes for some employees to arrive to open. We ordered seafood rice and the seafood was a horrible quality and I ended up leaving... More

Thes sevice was great, great attitude of our waiter, but the food was not at all what we expected...The price was too high for the two normal rice dishes, two desserts and four Pisco Sour at a price of U$115.

The food is nothing to do with real peruvian food. Neither the presentation not the flavor. The "tack-tacu" had the whole beans and a poor mix of seafood; the "aji de gallina" was tasteless and seemed to be prepared with box-chicken broad. The service was really bad, every time I think about this place don`t really know why did I... More

Resting – what do I say? – sleeping on its laurels… First impression: an unpleasant fish smell in the lobby of the restaurant, which doesn´t bode that well for a place putting forward its ceviches… Very few customers for a Friday night in an old-fashioned and slightly boring room. Well, that would not have been a problem for us if... More

Given the decadence of the trendy Peruvian competition, this is probably the most authentic home style Peruvian cooking in Bogotá. A quirky restaurant that looks like a shed bolted onto the front of a house in a completely nondescript but accessible part of Bogotá. Chicha morada and Peruvian beers available. Amazingly enthusiastic waiting staff that seem genuinely passionate about food,... More
