I'm in the coffee business; that's why I was in Colombia. These cafes are well run, and the staff knows what they are doing. The coffee is very good and the baristas make designs on the lattes just like in NY. Very well done.

There are a number of Juan Valdez Coffee Shops in Bogota. I've tried 4 of them and all were excellent experiences with the best-tasting coffee I've had in the Western Hemisphere. The Shop on Calle 93, Carrera 13 (overlooking Parque 93) is a wonderful place to enjoy a great cup of coffee as well as watch the locals and tourists... More

I have been travelling through the Americas for 8 months now starting in Miami, working my way around the US coasts before heading south through Central and South America. I am yet to get as far as Chile, Argentina and Brazil but I have to say that Juan Valdez has been the coffee highlight for me thus far. Not only... More

They are scattered all around Bogota - great place for authentic Colombian coffee and hot chocolate. We bought some beans to bring back as presents as well.

Excellent place to spend time while working on your computer. It is quiet popular among the Colombians.

Juan Valdez is a victim of it's own success. I used to enjoy their coffee but sadly standards have been slowly slipping. I can't help but notice the rapid turnover of staff in my local Juan Valdez on Calle 93 and this no doubt has led to the inconsistent quality of the coffee. My last two visits the cappuccino I... The only caveat is that sometimes they do not have large decaff. The flavor of the coffee is always great. The ambience is tranquil and you can fetch a byte of a sandwich or other small thing

I'm Italian, i love italian expresso. I don't feel, like colombians, the tradition of Juan Valdez. It is my fault. Sorry for that
