Restaurant Vienna is a must when you are in LaPaz

My son and I had a wonderful meal at Restaurant Vienna. The menu offerings could satisfy any palate. We were served by a wonderful waiter who was attentive yet not smothering. The meal was delicious.

On my second visit to la Paz I took another chance to have dinner with friends at this charming restaurant. We were seated in a comfortable booth and after a perfect mixed dry Vodka martini we enjoyed the meal. My friends had the farmer’s plate – an array of sausages, smoked meats and sauerkraut and I had the “Eisbein”- pork... More

We had a great meal at Vienna. It's a beautiful dining room with terrific waiters. Our waiter, Ruddy, was willing to listen to let me practice spanish, explain any dish and divide up our appetizers however we wished. Overall, the meal was great and for a bargain price. Incredible service, very good food, and an unbeatable price for what we... More

Although this place was a bit hard to find, (it looks like a hotel from the outside). We had a nice main course meal, with a very tasty chocolate moose desert. Overall it was a nice no thrills meal, for a cheap price. Nothing to stand out especially. Worth going out to one evening in La Paz if you are... More

Very charming restaurant in the center of La Paz. Entering through the main door you leave all the noise and chaos behind you and you get the feeling of being in Vienna. Good food selection – had a piping hot gratinated onion soup followed by very tasty pork chops with serrano ham. Also enjoyed the live piano music. Very attentive... More

Old world ambience with great food and service. A quiet moment in a hectic day. I had nice scallops send my husband jamon and egg for entree, followed by smoked pork chops and a schnitzel that was tender. We shared a yum tiramisu for dessert. The piano music was lovely background.

This is a classic old-european ambiance, but very stylish, beautiful decoration and live classical piano music. The food was very good too, both international and Bolivian dishes. Loved it!

Recommended by our tour guide. Arrived at 7pm and restaurant was empty, by the time we left at 8.30 it was quite full - many tables having been reserved. Mixture of locals and overseas students. Old fashioned service - lots of attention to detail. Delicious food and can recommend. Classical music took us back to being in Vienna a few... More

The first night in la paz we tried this restaurant and was very impressed. Live piano music starting at 8pm, quality service, complementary bread with cheese and salsa dip and impressive food selection. #1 First night we had the Tyrolean platter which was more than enough for three, and still had left overs. What an impressive sight it was! Cooked... More

We went to this Restaurant at our last night of our trip... It was very delicious... still, I do know what Spätzle are, and I miss them very much (no Spätzle in Costa Rica). So when I ordered Gulasch with Spätzle and got Bandnudeln instead, I was a bit disappointed. In Austria, the waiter would had given me a "Consolation-Schnaps"... More
