Very charming restaurant with piano player in the evening. Relaxed atmosphere. One of the few restaurants in Bolivia where you can get a decent Martini cocktail. Extensive menu written in three languages. Tasty gratinated onion soup and grilled pacific salmon in lemon butter. Good bolivian Sauvignon Blanc at exact temperature. Dark and white chocolate mousse outstanding. All in all, great... More

The vienna restaurant was nice. It is relatively far from the center of La Pas, where all the hostels are. The atmosphere was nice. Very european with a pianist playing and tied waters. My boyfriend ordered a pork's steak which he liked very much. But at the vegetarian section, unfortunately, the selection is poor and the food was nothing more... More

Once again visiting La Paz and my favorite restaurant, Vienna. It is always nice to come here and relax in an elegant atmosphere, enjoy one of the best Martini cocktails in South America and listen to music of the young and talented piano player. The menú offers international and also bolivian dishes. Wine list is limited but excellent wines to... More

Went twice there. Once for lunch, quite busy and once for dinner, nearly empty even a young woman played piano. The food was both times excellent. Very good service to a good price. Bolivian wine recomendable.

The place is perfect if you want to escape Bolivia for a moment. The service is like you would expect in a good restaurant in europe, which is to my experience very rare in South America. And the food quality is nothing short of the service's. Highly recommended.

Pros: Food is well prepared. Food is very different from Bolivian choices. The have pleasant live piano every night. The food service is great. The meats are well prepared. Cons: It isn't bolivian food. It's pricier than most of La Paz. Summary: Go here if you need food that is very very different than bolivian cuisine or if you want... More

Once again back in La Paz for a few days and visiting my favorite restaurant - the Vienna. After a day of hard work there is nothing better than to enjoy a good meal (my preferred plate is the grilled salmon trout) and some Singani Sours with some friends and listening to the music of the piano player. I can... More

The service was first class and the food was excellent. I had goulash and noodles as my main course and it was delicious. My wife had steak wrapped in bacon that was also excellent.

The food and service were outstanding at the Vienna. It is about 2 blocks from the Hotel Europa so can easily walk to lunch or dinner. The only problem was that they do not take VISA. The only credit card they take is American Express which we do not use when traveling because of the high foreign transaction fees. However,... More
