Description: Cafe-restaurant Sol y Luna is a Dutch owned and managed bar/restaurant. Because we have 4 areas, we can cater for several occasions. When you enter the restaurant it might look small, and around dinner time fully booked, but we do have a bigger restaurant area at the back upstairs. Downstairs we have the pool area with the possibility to have some drinks or a meal on comfy couches. If you carry on from there you will find our non-smoking area. You can come in to watch some sport on the flat screen TV's, read a book from our book exchange, check the internet via our free Wi-Fi or plan what the next leg on your journey will be with help from our reference guidebook collection During big and important sport matches we will turn our upstairs area in to a real sport cinema with a beamer projecting the game on a massive screen and we get the sound through the sound system!!

We visited this restaurant as a group of 16 after it was recommended by tour guide and other reviews. The meals took 3hrs to come out from ordering. During the wait the restaurant gave us a free shot of alcohol each and two bottles of wine to share (due to our long wait). Some meals were good (when we finally... More

They serve local brewed beer and food is more Dutch style but good taste and portions. Before 10pm is good to have dinner, later it can get lauder. Good for tourists, and if you are a local you know what to expect from the location.

Out plates were never cleared out after we finished our mains. I had to go to the waitress at the bar to request the menu again so we could order dessert. Had to ask for the plates to be cleared when the coffee arrived. At that point we asked for the bill as well. The bill never arrived. 15 mins... More

Food here was really delicious. One of the best meals in La Paz for me. Portions were large, not a bad idea to split with a friend, specially if u want desert also

Does live up to the reviews. Had an amazing steak medallion for £5. Great micro beer and Pisco Sour for £2. Lovely staff and some light entertainment

Went here twice for drinks and really enjoyed both visits. The wine and beers we had were excellent and they have a really good range to choose from. The atmosphere was fun and friendly.

Went there with my girlfriend. Atmosphere and interior is good. We wanted to order 2 beer. My first 3 choices of beer were not available, the one I chose at the end was long over the best before date with lots of pieces in there. So I didn't take any beer at all but still got charged the bad beer,... More

We went there a few times during our stay in LaPaz. The first thing that really surprised us in this place was the big variety of food you can order. There is food from all over the world and we really really enjoyed our falaffels... The atmosphere is cozy, especially on the upper floor. On top of that, the choice... More
