The actual place is ok with a place for kids to play but I really did not like the food. I tried a sandwich and it was horrible. Even worse is delivery, although convinient the food arrives cold and soggy everytime and I live 5 minutes from the place.

After hearing raves about this place from locals, we tried it one day for lunch. The building itself is nice, and the interior quite roomy and comfortable, while service is top notch. That is where the superlatives end, as this is a local version of TGIFriday's or Ruby Tuesday's, with loaded potato skins and Jack Daniels entrees to boot. The... More

Not the greatest but not the worst. Not memorable but super inexpensive and service was excellent. Children are certainly welcome and they run around like they own this place - nice to see.

good for Sunday lunches with the family, also very good for kids! You have to be very detailed on your order as the service isn't the best!

Where do i start! Great food, service and price. The food was delicious especially the "bife" and the appetizers . The restaurant is spotless!

Go only for the wings, very good, also try the Charlie Papa juice. Good price slow service when busy.

We "discovered" Charlie Papa on a visit to La Paz 2 years ago, and really loved the food then. Returned in January 2012 and also enjoyed it. But our meal today was a disappointment. Don't know if the overall quality has lowered, or we went on an off day (a Monday). For an appetizer, we ordered mozzarella sticks: not what... More

A meat & potatoes kind of place, Charlie Papa is great for families with kids, which makes it crowded and noisy, especially on weekends. If you don't mind that, the food is good and portions are generous and relatively inexpensive.

I moved to Bolivia from the USA a year ago. Having spent much time traveling and living in Bolivia - if you are craving "American Food" and atmosphere, Charlie Papa" is your place. Similar to an Applebee's or Chili's in USA. We eat there at least once a month and enjoy the good food and casual atmosphere. Our favorite is... More
