This place is reasonably priced and has some pretty good Asian food. The egg rolls were my favorite. We also ordered pad thai and fried rice. Both were good but be careful if you ask for spicy...it's really spicy.

The restaurant has a great vibe, good atmosphere, but took a very long time to get our food. Also, the menu is actually really expensive for the amount of food that you get. I ordered the Pad Thai and frankly, it wasn't very flavorful at all. My friend got a curry chicken dish which was much better, but still the... More

We had to wait nearly 2 hours for our food so by the time it came it was 11.30pm and none of us felt hungry anymore. We were a group of 7 and the place wasn't that busy so we couldn't understand why the food took so long and no apology was given by our waiter. When the food finally... More

We went as part of a group and had a reservation. The restaurant wasn't equipped for the 2 groups it had and it took 2.5 hours to get our meals. We had expressed our concerns to the owner, and instead of dealing with us, he got mad and left the restaurant. We had all ordered our meals according to which... More

I was looking forward for some nice Indean food: more ir less ok to disappointing. But the worse: we waited two hours for our meal to be delibered. Yes, we came there with a big group but thatfore we had made a reservation. No excuse from the owner and he simply disappeared and only agreed to give us a 5%... More

Had heard mixed things about Maphrao On, and definitely dubious about any restaurant claiming to be Asian "fusion", but we had a great night. Firstly, as others have said, do not go expecting authentic Thai or Indian cuisine. It has been Bolivianised. It is however very tasty, portions are HUGE (we ordered 3 starters and two mains and couldn't finish),... More

I was tempted to give this four stars; by other La Paz standards, I would give it a clear 4 stars; but for general Thai/Asian fusion quality and authenticity, I would rate it as average. Whatever dish you order will bear only a passing resemblance to its namesake the Thai, Indian, Indonesian, or Chinese dish; however, flavors are good, if... More

My friends and I stumbled across Maphrao On as we were wondering about near our hotel. It presents itself as a Thai Fusion restaurant, and I suppose it is. But the menu is a real cross section of Indian and Southeast Asian Cuisine with a Bolivian twist. We were seated in the upstairs part of the restaurant, reached by climbing... More

After eating local cuisine for last 3 weeks we really wanted something different. This restaurant offers all kinds of Asian and Indian meals. We had starters and mains and struggled to finish. Generous portions of great tasty food. It's a nice getaway from the streets of la Paz!

Ingredients were good quality and generally dishes were tasty. We ordered the beef salad and chicken satay for starters, followed by the green chicken and penang beef curries. Curries weren't as authentic as we had anticipated. We asked for medium, but they were not spicy at all. Presentation of dishes was good. It was still a nice change from the... More
