Great food and service

Very good food and amazing service. The location is very nicely decorated and the service very professional. The food is traditional but with a modern and fusion touch, the quinoa dessert was amazing. I would recommend it!

I ate at the restaurant as I was staying at the hotel. The restaurant is managed separately from the hotel, so you cannot add the restaurant charges to your hotel bill. If memory serves me correctly, you also cannot pay with a credit card, so bring Bolivian cash. Surprisingly for a nice tourist restaurant, there is no English menu. This... More

I have struggled to find places in Peru and Ecuador that don't overcook meat, and it has taken a visit to La Paz to find one. Our party had pork, chicken, llama and trout, and everyone raved about how good it was. My lamb was sensational. The ambience and service was fine. The staff don't speak much English and the... This is the restaurant of the Hotel Rosario. We were surprised by the selection and great imaginative offerings. One evening we tasted the llama steak with a fantastic wild blackberry sauce and quinoa risotto, for example, and then ended the meal with a dessert plate that was a trio of quinoa based desserts. A quinoa-vanilla mousse, a quinoa-gelato and a... More

We ate here twice while staying at the Hotel Rosario. The restaurant and the hotel are decorated beautifully and have a great ambiance. The food and the service were excellent. I had the bacon wrapped chicken the one night and the curry chicken the other. My wife had the trout in fennel sauce and the pesto pasta. The trilogy of... More

Right inside our hotel - the Rosario - this was an elegant spot with terrific food, both for dinner and breakfast, served by friendly staff with class. Our 12 y.o. grandson loved it too!

Restaurant is lovely, nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food was presented nicely, and had been cooked excellently. Our only downside was that the flavours and ingredients seemed to be quite mismatched and bland, for example sweet and sour sauce on my chicken salad and a unfortunately tasteless llama steak.

I stayed in this hotel and for a few nights I ate here. The food was always to a high standard served by friendly staff. The menu had a good choice and I didn't feel that the ersvice was slow in comparison to other restaurants in La Paz. I recommend this restaurant. My only issue would be that it can... More

We went here for dinner and had high expectations. The food was just average and the service was extremely slow. This place is pricey but the quality of the food doesn't justify the price. I expected a much higher food and service quality, but this place turned out to be a disappointment.

we had dinner there some times and it was a great experience. The menu is pretty good and we recommend the llamas dishes and the Sauvignon blanc from campos de solana, a Bolivian winery. To finish, ask for the quinoa made desert.
