I ordered Cesar Salad, dressing at the side. It was just perfect, Uruguayian style. "Flan" (custard) for desert was heavenly. Staff is excellent. Never got to the restrooms. Billing may take a bit too long. Excellent price-quality relationship.

We went there as my husband wanted to have Chivito, " he enjoyed it"..., we girls had "pork matambrito and chicken wok".., portions were good size but nothing impressive. The waiter was nice, and prompt to help but I wouldn't go there again, it is a classic but it is not as it used to be, ......

But the Frankfurters are just the best on earth!!!! The milanesa Napolitana was amazing too! Costed 23 USD though... Good service and overall nice experience just a lot more expensive we expected for a diner-like place like this.

La Pasiva is a nationwide chain of fast food restaurants. The dish out very nice pizzas, the tradicional steak sandwiches (called "Chivitos"), hotdogs and sausages, wiener Schnitzels, fish, pasta, and a whole selection of fresh salads. The service is very fast although sometimes not very courteous. They also serve tea/coffee all day long, with a good selection of cakes and... More

We asked for an orange juice, a hamburger and a sandwich. 10 minutes later, the waitress said that the sandwich I asked was to complicated to do with so many clients in the restaurant. I had to change my order to a sandwich just with ham and tomato. 45 minutes later, finally, our order came. I could have gone to... More

The Chivito is Uruguay's national sandwich. La Pasiva's chivitos come with a huge portion of french fries (my wife and I each ordered a chivito with fries, but half the fies were left over). While you're at it, order one of Uruguay's quite-decent wines. You may find somewhere a little cheaper in this resort town, but the place is air... More

They serve very nice chivitos, the best I had in Punta del Este. If you are not too hungry, the bigger chivitos will serve two people.

Too expensive for the type of food they offer. Surely restorants around the city have better choices and better quality of food for the prices they have.

La pasiva is a chain of local restaurants. The must is el chivito, a sandwich that carries, at its ltd. edition, sirloin steack, eggs, lettuce, plam herts, fries, beans and possibly more. The Patrcia beer, alocal brand, is very fresh and tasty. Familes ans parties or more tahn six are welcome, without extra service fee.

This is your typical Uruguayan Chivitio and Pizza place (although they have lots of other items on the menu). I love going to places like this and drinking a beer with my meal. From what i hear this place is well known in Uruguay, and it was packed when we got there and we actually had to wait for a... More
