Excelente, ausgezeichnet, excellent

The food was wonderful, every bite as good as it upscale restaurant in Italy. The ambience was similar to a neighborhood restaurant in uptown New Orleans, but with live Latin music instead of Jazz. Anyone who does not thoroughly enjoy this place has the wrong priorities.

The ambience was pleasant. They tried to seat me by the door and, a little grudgingly, let me sit a bit further in. I was quite early so the waiter was initially attentive. I have to say that the bread bowl was delicious. I ordered a caprese salad, which was fine Then I let the waiter talk me into asado,... More

We had lunch at 1pm - early for PdE - and got the undivided attention of our waitress. Everything we ordered was done according to our expectations. The prices were normal for this city, with the exception of a green salad, valued at 15 USD. I can reccomend it.

We walked past this unassuming grill one night and came back the following evening, having been tempted by the great atmosphere and music! The food did not disappoint. Excellently prepared on a massive grill. Great side dishes too...the home made chips and roasted veg must be tried! Very laid back and helpful staff too.

This was my second time here. First time was excellent. The fish sturgeon was incredible. But this time it was not available. We switch for Salmon. Cold on arrival. The rest of meals were average. The asado was at best regular. Service is very good. Expensive for the experience. They need to get it better. No credit cards

If you're looking for a place to eat in Punta del Este -look no further ! This place has a cozy vibe, english-speaking and extremely hands-on staff and a quiet atmosphere. Me and two other friends ordered the shared platter for two and it was plenty of food. For side dishes we had the sweet potato mixed mouse + their... More

Very nice place, laid back comfortable, very relaxed. Svc is great, very friendly and relatively quick. We ordered asado and it was great!! I´m not giving 5 stars, because I find it to be a bit expensive. But otherwise a very good experience!!

Although the restaurant doesn't have an English menu, the staff are very pleasant and happy to walk one through the menu. They recommended the Parrilla for 2, which was a smorgasbord of meats delivered to our table. There was chicken, pork short ribs, steak, sausage and blood sausage. It was my first time trying blood sausage; and, it was a... More

The food is nothing special, just good… but the service is excellent and the negative point is not to accept credit cards….

Outside the restaurant is an ancient cart bearing the legend (in Spanish) to the effect that the fire never goes out. I guess that refers to the fire of the asado but it could equally refer to the passion of the attractive young couple running the place. The first impression is of a place a little down at heel. But... More
