Superb restaurant, excellently run by huge staff attentive in every way. Excellent decor upgraded a few years ago gives lovely ambience. Reserve ahead in season as they were queuing at midnight as we left on a Saturday night. Exceptional bar man making cocktails expertly all night. Get a table in the middle behind the bar area not outside as it... More

A perfect restaurant in Bikini beach, Punta del Este UY, don't miss it. A excellent atmosphere and trend decor, staff very helpful and kind, food and drinks impeccable. Try a mojito while waiting for a typical esteña food.

My wife and I ate at O'Farrell restaurant during our brief visit to Uruguay before the high season had started. Before giving a review of the food and atmosphere, I would first like to warn other restaurant-goers that this restaurant does not accept credit cards inclusive of the months April through November. We were not aware of this, even though... More

We enjoyed a lovely evening at O'Farrell. The food was excellent and the wine selection was extensive. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming ambiance. There was live music and the staff were attentive and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the La Barra/Manantiales/Jose Ignacio area.

For many years I heard about O'Farrell, but this was the first time we tried it, and I regret we didn't do it earlier. Good music, nice place, and the meal starts - small and hot home made bread with a chickpea paté which had an intriguing season. A few minutes later, a small portion of salmon on a toast... More

The ambiance is very nice, with a very good service. The maiter was very clear, explaining the menu and the wine list. The atmosphere is very modern and trendy

Decided to try this restaurant based on the road sign which we passed daily, totally random, but it did not disappoint at all. This is one of the best meals we had in Punte del Este. We got there at 9:45 and appeared to be the first patrons, but by the time we left near 1 AM the place was... More

Only nice wine and very polite waitresses. Food was very poor, "fresh fish" has not fresh, undercooked and did not taste great. Dessert was poor, table arrangement was terrible as we were all sat at different angles due to space constraints. There were as well mosquitos. Menu was overpriced.

The meal at O'Farrell's was equal parts enjoyable food and enjoyable view. We were seated at the front of the restaurant overlooking the ocean as a nice backdrop. The food was very good - I had the duck and my husband had the lamb pasta. The best part was probably the dessert - we ordered the fruit crumble and fought... More
