Fantastic food with a beatiful view

I was with my wife. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Table and seats very comfortable. We had seafood that was excelent, prices are higher than average for Punta del Este but worthy. Wine list was also a bit expensive but good, and the service was excelent.

We have been a couple of times . I can say the service is very good and the creativity of the menu is a fact to be stated. The octopus, the lamb and the desserts are 10 points. Also the wine list is acceptable merging local wine (tannat) and argentinian malbec and chilean. Good experience at good price for this... More

I expected a lot more. The starter was bad, fried seafood very oily. The shrimp risotto was ok but the fish was unbalanced, too much cream that compromised the taste. The service was very nice. We went in the winter so we didn't had much choice. If I had, I wouldn't come back.

Dined here twice on the same week during a business trip. Food was outstanding – I had the merluza negra, the ‘Costa del este’ appetizer, and the dulce de leche ice-cream for dessert – all fresh and delicious. Service was excellent – friendly, polite, young lady. Location is very nice – across the street from port/marina, with nice water view... More

Enjoyed the service and the food - spectacular seafood and lamb!! Everything was delecately done! I just can't say enough - if you're in Punta del Este, you MUST eat at Lo de Tere. And if you do it enough times you get your personalised napkin that is stored in its own cabinet no less!!

We had an incredible lunch with great tastes. We will definitively come back! We shared the Octopus Carpaccio, Mollejas and Cordero. Dulce de Leche as dessert. Everything incredible and perfectly shared from the kitchen. Great place!

Fabulous food & ambiance. Our waiter, Javier, was phenomenal and made the experience magical. Both my husband & I agreed we had a better meal here than at the famed La Huella in Jose Ignacio.

Had dinner with some friends at Lo de Tere and loved it! Considering the quality of the food and the great service, Lo de Tere is not expensive if you compare to other restaurants of the area. The Harbour view is amazing too. Would definitely go back to all de Tere!

The food was ok but overpriced. The fish is good. The steak so, so. They offer early bird discounts. Not my first choice to eat. .

Excellent food served in a place that is right across the harbor in Punta del Este. This restaurant offers well-prepared food such as local fish, black-crab ravioli and a signature rack of lamb. A very nice wine list compliments the food well. Service is attentive and efficient.
