Gourmet restaurant with special rates

Lo de Tere is the " Mecca " in Punta for dining. Service, food, wine list, view and location are top and the all staff knows how and what they are doing. What is interesting is that they have a scale of discount according what time you are going to eat. Don´t miss it

We liked Lo de Tere as a trivial restaurant. Nothing very fancy or extremely special. A good choice if you are in the Port Area. Try their special Nhoque Gratin because it is really a hard dish to make right, as they do!

Hoping to find a home made cooking, instead of not so fancy restaurant. Fish, ok. Pasto not so good. Average service. Very classic place with no place for kids (in the menu or in the saloon... all adult people).

The Restaurant is beautiful, the staff very nice, and the food is delicious and with quality. The price is high but you have discount if you pay with card.

Located in front of the harbour of Punta del Este this traditional restaurant has a good fame and probably deserves it. When I visited the restaurant together with my wife, we had a hard time to find a dish that was simple and straightforward. For the rather steep prices it would be great to find also some unpretentiously creative food...... More

In season it is recommendable to reserve a table and arrive early for dinner, it is always overbooked and after 9.30 p.m. thete is usually a long queue outside the restaurant. We were a party of 5 and all of us had different main courses. All were excellently prepared, specially the lamb ribs and the "merluza negra". In Uruguay the... More

Lo de Tere is best "fine dining" experience in Punta. Service is excellent, food fresh and perfectly cooked and wine exceptional. My 5th New Year's Eve here and we never get tired of it.

Food was excellent, service also We didn't like to have as neighbor a customer dressed in shorts and sandals. I think the restaurant deserves a dress code
