Yemeni Cusine is very rich and versatile , you have some unique dishes done and presented in the unique Haradah which is made out of stone and put on flame before the food is presented in it to keep the food boiling and sizzling through out the meal in Sana'a cold weather. The place is multilevel and offers some of... More

if you like yemeni food , this is the place to be in Sanaa. try the Mikhbaza, backed fish it is simple, fresh and taste> price depends on the size between USD 7-12> I also tried their lamb and it is very delicious. Just try it. don't forget to ask for the forks because Yemenis eat using their hands>

Reading the Lonely Planet guide and listening to locals, I thought this restaurant was something special, but to be honest I was not impressed at all. It is famous for fish but after a lot of that in Socotra I wanted something else and I ordered the meat mix (don't remember exactly the name of the dish): when they brought... More

Their fish curry and grilled fish are out of this world. Amazing food with excellent portion size in very reasonable prices. A must visit during Sana'a

Ate here about 5 or 6 times, and each time was great. Prawns, Fish, Meat and lovey bread. But they best part was the honey and weat dessert. There are 3 branches to this chain, and each one is equally good. You'll feel safe while you enjoy a good meal

The first Shaybani restaurant, one of several now operated in Sanaa by the same family, was located in the downtown area and is festooned with pictures of high-rolling Yemeni dignitaries (ministers, business community leaders, foreign official visitors) who have graced the premises. In fact, however, as noted in other reviews, the flagship (and best) Shaybani restaurant is now the one... More

It is one of the most famous restaurant in Sanaa cit, with the specalties in local Yemenis food. I like the lamb much more than any other good foods here. Don't feel at Yemen if you don't eat here!
