It shouldnt be put as 2nd on the Restaurant list as they only sell ice cream so it's misleading. There is space to sit down but it gets very crowded in the Summer especially with Tourists because it has a reputation for good ice cream.

It's probably the most visited small shop in the Souk. With crowds standing by the open show window, the staff at Bakdash know how to put on a show. But this is their daily routine in making kneaded ice cream. Covered with pistachio crumbs, it's as if you're eating vanilla ice cream with strips or strings of cheese inside. This... More

very hygienic, and clean icecream with traditional seating and its a very busy place because of its popularity and name that has not lost its name after gaining fame. Usually when places get popular they start buying products according to quantity and not quantity but this place always works as hard as when it first opened. Great

Milk ice cream but almost kneaded so its consistence reminds of melted cheese (in a good way), covered with chopped pistachios. Bustling place in the old part of Damascus.

Ice creams are made manually, but very hygienically. It was wonderful to be at a famous and so old Ice Cream shop.

They asked me if i wanted the ice-cream or the dessert made with milk. and i wanted ice-cream on the dessert. I think this was not something commenly wanted. Two of them were great. I wish i can visit there again when there is peace.

Classic ice cream parlour in the centre of Damascus, everyone's local favourite. It is the traditional Arab ice cream and covered in pistachios.
