The food is overpriced, we can get better meals elsewhere with the price we've paid. An omelet for QAR12, sambal udang (with only 4 to 5 pieces of small shrimps) for QAR40, a plain white rice for QAR10!!!. OMG.

Dropped by for refreshment. Had ABC and Ice Tea and they were good. Service was good as well. At the end of Souq Wakif and difficult to find.

I had read some comments on here that were not good, but did not have the same experience. The service was good, very friendly and chatty and polite. I had the mixed Satay and it was good. The meat was well cooked and was very tender, no issues. Then I had the Beef Rendang and it was better than I... More

We had lunch at Sri Kebaya in Souq Wakif. Unfortunately, the food was not satisfactory. We had a couple of chicken dishes as well as some seafood soup. The chicken was particularly bad - hard, fried and not tender at all. May be we didn't order right - but I think you could do much better by opting for the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our colleagues, mainly because of the food. So we visited this restaurant because as what they say the price is just right. The location is easy to locate and the restaurant itself blends into the Arabian architecture of Souq Waqif making it more authentic. As soon as we entered, the ambiance is just... More

By far the worst service i have ever received. I was in Doha around a month ago. I visited Souq Waqif and noticed a Malaysian restaurant. Being Malaysian, i was very excited and wanted some home food especially being away from my country for a long time. I ordered the satay and it was completely inedible. The meat was tough.... More

We had the mixed fried platter(45), beef masak (35), char Kwai teow (35), coconut rice (12), beef rendang (40). The lady who answered the phone had very clear English and understood me perfectly and understood our address, which is very unusual in Doha! The food arrived in an hour which was fine. The entree platter wasn't very interesting and we... More

Three of us went after work.We had fried squid, turmeric fried chicken and chicken Kendang. Squid was a bit tough but the chicken dishes were well cooked and delicious. The stray cats enjoyed the skin. But dessert was just plain wrong. We ordered the ice shavings, ice cream, jelly, sweets and, I quote, red jelly beans. My friend ordered it first and... More
