Visited with a group of friends and we shared the mezze starter, which consisted of the nicest baba ganoush I have ever tasted. The bread was delicious and the other assorted accompaniments also held up. My main of mixed meat kebab was lovely, but the kofta style kebabs did let the meal down a tad as they were not as... More

This restaurant is one of my favourite in Doha, they serve authentic iraqi food, try the "Quzi" chicken or meat and the "Masqoof" which is grilled fish Iraqi way. The staff are friendly, plenty of food and tasty food Avg bill of 60QR per person

The scenery is typical for a Souq Wakif restaurant, still very good. The starters were excellent (I tried 5 of them, I have some objection on the humus - but humus is always a personal matter!). The fish was cooked very well. The lemon juice was excellent. The tea that followed, spiced with cardamon, was extraordinary. Finally, I had the... More

This place is authentic as middle eastern food gets. The bread dish with your choice of 4 dipping sauces was excellent. The bread was crispy and delicious. However, the mint lemonade, and tea left something to desire. The main course that I chose was the lamb. Unfortunately it was overcooked and dry. I would recommend trying this place because of... At the end of the main street in the heart of Souq Al Wakif you are still searching for that one glimmer of something extraordinary that will help you pick that special restaurant. All seems clear once you see the huge traditional clay oven and the massive fish spliced along the belly slowly roasting. The staff are authentically dressed ,... More

I strongly recommend Al-Adhamiyah restaurant. It's just across from the juice shop in Souq Waqif, about 10 metres away from the art centre. Start with a mixed mezze, and they'll continue to bring you piping hot, fresh unleavened bread: perfect starters. The chicken kebab is big enough to split between two. We're seen here often enough that they have given... More

The restaurant is in the main street of Souq Waqif. It is quite nice, but not elegant. The food is good and enjoyable, but I could not found any feature that distinguishes it from many other restaurants of the Souq. Prices are very affordable, but this is not enough to let me choose Al Adhamiyah as one of my favourites... More

Excellent food for a reasonable price with a lovely atmosphere. The wait staff are pleasant and attentive. We really enjoyed the Fatoush and Hummus. Fresh juice was available as well. Try the chicken tika or the Iraqi kebabs! Both are excellent choices with plenty to eat there and plenty to take with you as portion sizes were large.

Unfortunately this small restaurant lacked any main meals for vegetarians. That said, I ordered a lentil soup (which was intended for a starter) and it was delicious. After ordering, my soup came almost immediately which was a mild inconvenience as they knew it was all i had ordered... And obviously my fathers main course didn't arrive for another 15 minutes.... During a short trip to Doha to visit my son in law we went to this Restaurant for a meal. My wife and I are used to different cuisine but this was one of the best we have ever had. We had a mixed menu, too many dishes to remember. The whole meal was delicious and the staff very friendly... More
