Great food, good location

A Yemeni restaurant that serves traditional Yemeni dishes. The bread is always hot and buttery, the stews come bubbling in their clay pots, the rice come with the meat buried inside as it falls off of the bone. Great food for a good price. The location of the restaurant is great. After a long day... read more

Gone on a Friday for lunch. Had a tasty "mutton mandhi". Attractive view for the interior and exterior of the restaurant. You must learn Arabic to read the restaurant board, because it's written in Arabic 😝..

Searched on Trip Advisor for a place to eat in Qatar , and came across this Yemeni restaurant located in Souk Wakif. Since it was our first time we took the advise of the Bengali waiters and ordered what we felt was one of the most amazing food we have tasted. The meat was very tender and the mutton with... More

Amazing food. Discovered yemeni food at this place. Fahsa is amazing, the bread is amazing. The other stuff are great too. It's the first and last place I go to eat each time I go to Qatar.

I am in Qatar visiting family and now a host of new Middle Eastern friends. I am a self confessed foodie and requested my friends to find me somewhere to eat which was authentic, not linked to a British Chef or chain I could visit anywhere else in the world. My new found United Nations soon came up with Bandar... More

Heard and read so much about this Yemeni restaurant, thought we give it a try for dinner last night at 6 pm. The place was packed, waiters were running around serving food to patrons and we had to wait at least 10 mins for a table. Had to go to the cashier to collect the menu and placed the order.... More

The friendliness. The Server was great, very friendly and helpful. At first the language was shaky but we got there. The outside ambiance was nice to see people walking the streets.

We stumbled upon this little gem during prayer time when everything was closed and we were starving. It was packed, but luckily after about a 10 minute wait we snagged a table. It was our first time eating Yemeni food and it was so delicious! We loved it. We ate chicken and rice and then also beef with a giant... More

It may not look much from outside but is well worth a visit. Excellent food and staff happy to make suggestions ifyou are unsure. We have the sizzling stews with Yemeni bread which is lovely. Very good value.
