Ate there several times while in Muscat and every time the food was beyond amazing and so fresh. The bread they serve and hummus are wonderful, the only issue was trying to not eat it all so I'd have room for the main meal. Additionally, the grilled shrimp, grilled fish and grilled calamarie were grilled to perfection. I also loved the... More

Best fish in town. Irritable bread. Excellent complement of salads, juices and appetizers. Not too spicy. Good staff. Opens until late after midnight. Seating is not the most comfortable though and location can be difficult to access and park at peak times.

Best seafood in Oman, fried calamari, oven baked shrimp and grilled seafood platter should be tried. Delicious Turkish dessert: kunefe.

Amazing food, great and quick service, decent price... Do try their oven-baked lobster - it comes in a tomato and veg based gravity and has soft melted cheese on top... Also try their Hammour fish - it's delicious...

We went as a family of 8, so we had a 10mim wait, but it was worth it! Going on a recommendation, first we chose the fish, which was then grilled, with ample bread, lamb and chicken dishes this was perfect! Make sure you don't overdo the bread, because it leaves you stuffed for the fish, which you can have... More

This goes right on top of my "Restaurants with horrid bathrooms" list. No paper , No soap, Bad smell. (What do the employees wash their hands with?). Trash can filled to the top with who knows what. Floor was wet, slippery and was discolored with mildew... The place itself is dirty and stinky. On top of that, the service staff... More

The Turkish House Restaurant is by far the best value for seafood in Muscat. For the best experience call ahead for a reservation as it tends to get very busy. If you arrive prior to 7PM it is typically quite. Go for the grilled hamour (grouper) and don't forget the Arabic appetizer platter with the fresh hot bread from the... More

This is the only place in Muscat where you walk in and know the owners and staff appreciate your patronage. The great service and fresh fish are only a few reasons to visit Turkish house frequently. We always start with the mixed mezza served with fresh bread straight out of the oven and a lemon mint drink. The grilled seafood... More

I celebrate here every time. I come here even when there's nothing to celebrate about. I used to work in a hotel in Al Khuwair. Probably a 20-min walk or so (I love walking, so I don't really mind). When guests ask me where was a nice place to eat at, and I don't care if they say seafood or... More
