One of ma favourite restaurant on earth... Located in an old Arabic house in the heart of Gemmayzeh, Mayrig serves impeccable Armenian food. A special mention goes to its perfect 'mante', served with much gusto by the lovely personnel. Try also the different types of kebbe, the armenian salad 'itch' and the muhammara. All simply delicious. A must do when... More

I heard a lot about this restaurant and my first visit confirmed all the good things i heard. Mayrig offers Armenian cuisine in a very warm and charming ambiance. I loved the combination of meat and cherries, the stuffed dough with yogurt, the unique and unusual flavours of the ice cream and too many other dishes. The staff is very... More

Great recommendation by a friend of a friend who recently lived in Lebanon.... This restaurant is tucked away but well worth a visit (some 10 min by taxi from Moevenpick Beirut Hotel). Authentic well prepared dishes served in style by a restaurant that is decorated with taste and been handed from generation to generation for 4 generations.

Every time I take visiting friends to Mayrig, I always get the same same remark: One of the best meals they have had in Lebanon. I highly recommend trying it out. If you are not familiar with Armenian cuisine and are not sure what to order, just ask the staff, they will recommend the most sought after dishes. Don't forget... More

This quaint place in the heart of Gemmayze is a hidden gem. The ethnic food is simply delicious, whether it's the salad, main dish, or dessert. It's a must for everyone to try it at least once, and from then on, you're hooked.
