Incredible Place

Spectacular food, good quality drinks, amazing staff. Different genre of music depending on what "night" it is. There's something for everyone. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good atmosphere, good food, and/or a great night out!

I was there last month for lunch. The first disappointment is the amount of time it took for someone to come to my table given the fact that there were very few people in the restaurant. The second disappointment was the fact that some menu items were not available. I ordered a couscous. It was not as impressive as it... More

Well, it was halloween the night I went to bardo. All tables were reserved, so my friend and I sat on the bar. I was sitting there listening to the music when I noticed that a bartender was staring at me weirdly. Then he was whispering about me to another bartender and pointing at me as if I were an... More

Since i became a student in Haigazian university which is right next to this amazing restaurant-Bardo, i have fallen in love with the place. The prompt service, the family-home like atmosphere, the friendly and respectful waiters, the quality of the food and the affordable prices make this place an extraordinarily unique restaurant which i enjoy in all my free times.... A very homey place in the center of Beirut, the surrounding area is peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Beirut. The food is amazing and they have great coffee. It also has a wide selection of board games to keep u entertained with friends. At night it transforms into a very cool pub. The owners are very friendly... More

If you are ever lucky-enough to find yourself in the marvellous city of Beirut - go to Bardo straight-away. It's a fabulous mix of the Orient and the West (why don't we have a nicer and more-exotic word for the west??). Somewhere where Lebanese hospitality and global-vision come together….. I *always* go there when I'm in Beirut. I love it.... More

We tried bardo on 2 different occasions. Both times the food was average and very overpriced for what it was. Bardo was very empty, with a sad vibe at lunch and dinner. It is quite out of the way too, so you can't go anywhere else easily. Gouraud street has a lot more to offer in terms of quirky bars... More

Tourist guides provide you with many reasons for visiting Lebanon and particularly Beirut. I can add yet another one on the list: the bar-restaurant Bardo. I come from Athens, a city famous for its nightlife and restaurants; yet, I confess that in Athens there is nothing quite like Bardo. That is, a bar-restaurant that simultaneously provides gourmet (and tasty) cuisine... More
