My first tast of Lebanon

This was my very first meal in Lebanon little more than 2 hours after getting of the plane so I may be a little biased! As my first taste of authentic Lebanese food I was not disappointed I enjoyed it very much. The choice was guided by my host who lives in the city and everything was delicious... read more

This has been my favourite restaurant in Beirut where I used to take my guests. The restaurant has a lovely athmosphere, you can eat in the large room at the entrance and in the spring/summer on the beautiful terrace. Very wide menu with a wonderful selection of local food perfectly cooked and presented.Friendly service and very good value for money

This is my second time visiting this location during my travels to Beirut and I must say I was even more impressed the second time. Reservations highly recommended if you plan on dining on the weekend. We had a table for two and started with moutabal, sojuk, fatouche, and hummus. The food arrived promptly, was well organized on the table,... More

Abdel Wahab - seems almost to be an institution in Beirut. The food is most authentic Lebanese we have come across to date. The atmosphere is wonderful and while we visited it was obvious that this restaurant is not just for 'tourists'. It is mainly frequented by locals in typical large groups. The service is excellent and despite its popularity... More

That restaurant never changes throughout the years and that is why we keep going back - quality food and great selection of dishes - the humus is just amazing and there is hardly anything that one would find below average quality. Dessert ice creams are amazing....love this place that is one if the very few in Beirut to last for... More

A lovely restaurant for mezze, sampling an array of authentic Lebanese cuisine, or enjoying some nargile (before, during or after your meal). The fattouche, mouttabal and hummous are delicious classics. The fried aubergine in yoghurt sauce, on the other hand, sadly had too much garlic for anybody's taste. The fruit platter after dinner provides a healthy, if not seemingly decadent... More

Nice atmosphere, great food and authentic taste. Their authentic Lebanese dishes will surprise and in summer sit on the terrace and enjoy the summer breeze.

Wow. Was visiting Beirut for a few days. Was taken to Abdel Wahab's by Lebanese friends. The experience was really great. It's the combination of ambience, service, and food quality that really makes it special. We went for lunch and sat by the window. We must have had 20 items for mezze and 6 for dessert, all really high quality!... More
