Great fresh Sushi. The food variety is great, the spicy salmon salad, crab salad and rock shrimps are amazing. The makis are fresh and have a great variety. Staff is bery friendly and professional. Make sure to book in advance as its always fully booked.

After having discovered this place to be the highest rated Sushi place in Beirut, I had to try it two days ago. I walked in without reservation and was seated immediately at the Bar, although they were very busy. First disappointment: they filled me a glas of water (without at least asking if I like it still). As always, I... More

Last week i went to try Kampaii after reading so many reviews about it, however mine does not have a happy ending. First upon reservation, i asked them about parking options, they did not mention about park-meters just across instead they said the only solution was valet parking; this was again affirmed when we called for indication the day we... I tried many sushi spots in Beirut, this seems to be the most in place at the moment, great selection of sushi, very nice ambiance, always busy.

I am an LA native so I have had my share of real, authentic tasting Japanese cuisine. Other sushi restaurants in Beirut are just subpar compared to Kampai. Anything you order is bound to be akin to something you would eat on the coastal cities of Japan, and the Kobe beef tastes like heaven. Although it's pricier than the chain... More

Best Fresh sushi in the heart of Beirut, wide menu variety, good service and well decorated. Can be slightly pricey though.

I went there with my family, it was a bit crowded but the service was good and the food was even better! It is a bit pricy but worth the visit.

One of the few restaurants opting to stick to the non-smoking law in Lebanon. One of the best sushi in town; the sea weed salad is a must. a bit pricy with bill going easily to $80-$100/person. The Japanese beer is good to try; the Maki variety is even better. Reservation is highly recommended- unless u plan to wait 45... More

One of my favourite sushi places in Lebanon is Kampai. However recently I have decided to order Japanese dishes rather than just sushi and raw fish dishes; this is when I came across the sublime Black Cod. This is definitely a MUST try dish
