the place is nice , however dont choose sitying on the bar facing the cuisine door or else you end up smelling the frying odors whenever a waiter gets in or out.the sushi tastes good but not excellent and it is somehow overpriced. i liked the wine glasses :)

The experience at Kobe is really outstanding. Having been to most sushi places in town (Kampai, The Sushi Lounge, Yabani, WOK WOK, Le Sushi Bar, Yumi and the likes...) I can honestly say that Kobe is likely one of the best sushi paces in Beirut - if not the best by far. The staff are welcoming and professional. The interior... More

Great restaurant in Gemayzeh Beirut, with a wonderful menu, good wine choice. We had the orgazmic shrimps, the salmon crunchy, and the trio salmon, tuna and scallops appetizers, the kobe fillet as main dish, plus chicken noodles. The wine was Pouille Fume, a good white French wine. Very good food, excellent professional service. Beef and wine are a bit on... More

I had heard of Kobe and decided to dine there while on a short trip to Beirut. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. Although the menu is extensive, there was no consistency when it comes to taste. Although some selections were tasty, several dishes didn't taste that good! Staff is very friendly, ambiance is nice but from my experience, it's... More

I had a great experience at Kobe. Very welcoming staff. The Food was really amazing. It is in the ivy league of Sushi and Japanese restaurants I have been to so far. And believe me, I have been to many. I travel a lot and lived in many cities including London where you can find the most amazing restaurants. This... More

I went to Kobe because I wanted to try new things. Safe to say I was very much impressed. The waiters and the host were some of the most professional people I've ever met, friendly, courteous, and great at what they do. The ambiance was terrific; great music and soft lighting. Very romantic. They also have a very impressive variety... More

Kobe was a pleasant surprise. We visited the restaurant for dinner and really I couldn't find fault. The ambiance was great, with good lighting, music choice and great service. The food was amazing and we sampled a good number of dishes including their melt-in-your-mouth kobe rib-eye and the shabu-shabu, which is definitely something to try. Looking forward to returning again... More
