Abou Hassan is a pretty old landmark of Caracas area in Ras Beirut. I have eaten at the restaurant a great number of times over the past 18 plus years. The restaurant offers a nice variety of different mezze, salads and meats. Breakfast menu has everything a traditional Lebanese breakfast would offer including foul, eggs, labneh etc... As for the... I've eaten at Abou Hassan several times, and I would surely list in my top places in Beirut: the location is small, and looks very typical and laid back. The service is ok, the quality of the meat is great (whatever you order!), the mezzes are fine too, and prices are just cheap!

This is a small restaurant that was recommended by a friend. I suggest just eating a bunch of salads, that will fill you up for sure. I got the sense the restaurant was clean [I ate raw kibbeh, very tasty], the staff was friendly, and the service fast.

I walked by the restaurant several times during my two day trip to Beirut. I wanted authentic Lebanese food but didn't want a restaurant that catered to tourists. Everytime I walked by Abou Hassan, the tables were filled with local patrons. I stopped by for a dinner on my last day. The mixed grill was moist and tasty. The hummus... More

We have been twice to the delightful Abou Hassan this visit, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times were excellent. Meze and grills. Service is good, environment is basic but buzzy and fun and the food is good. Busy both visits. Not licensed, but you can bring a bottle and many do!

This tiny place in a corner of Ras Beirut offers lebanese dishes. The place is very small but there is always people. The restaurant does also delivery. The variety are good, does not have everything but have the essentiel plates. prices wise, it is ok, not cheap and not expensive.

Abou Hassan is a micro landmark of Beirut. In the touristic area of Raouché, near Pigeon's grotto, Abou Hassan brings you a delicious and friendly aspect of Beirut. Everybody (staff and customers) mingles together in the tiny 2 floor space, in a cheerful and joyful mood. Food is Lebanese, Beiruti: Fetta (chickpeas with yoghurt), served only on breakfast.
