Description: A wonderful Lebanese restaurant in downtown Beirut. The food was wonderful, our favourites were the grilled halloumi cheese, cheese rolls, fatoush salad and moutabel (as well as dessert with white coffee - hot rose water). The wine was also good. The decor is quite simple and modern, not a great amount of atmosphere but it was all made up by the delicious food and wonderful service which constantly looked after us. You can also smoke shisa if you wish to. Greatly located in downtown Beirut, near the central mosque. Prices are about average for a restaurant dinner in the centre of town. It was recommended to us by Hotel Albergo, and I was very much satisfied with my evening and will definitely go back.

One of the most popular traditional cuisine places, good food and nice service. Personally this is not one the best but for a business meal this is top selection. When in Beirut you need to search for the small corner restaurants they offer way more than big establishment, but if you have visitors or travelers over, this is one of... More

Overall, the service and food was very good. This is close to Nejmeh square so it is very convenient to eat at during a visit to the downtown area. It is just unfortunate that from the three times that I have eaten here, it is relatively quiet due to the lack of visitors to the downtown area. But if you... More

Excellent food, excellent service. It's a pity it's indoors :( In any case, the best lebanese food we ever tasted :)

If anyone would ask me where did I have my best meal in beirut, I'll directly reply: at Karam. I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service. It is worthy every penny spent in there. All my friend who went there as per my recommendation have spent great times. I am looking forward t being there again. Hopefully soon.

Went there yesterday for family lunch and we enjoyed it a lot. Perfect set up for families gathering. Nice decor. Mouthwatering LEBANESE food (meza and barbecue) every dish was tasty. The service was efficient and quick. Polite and skillful waiters. Dishes portions were fair. Good value for money Not overpriced at all. Even though the place is not that big... More

I love Lebanese food and I don't mean the fare served at Beirut's international hotels. Karam is an interesting 15-minute walk from the Phoenicia and St. George's, and the food is delicious, authentic and plentiful. I had a table outside for dinner in October and although the place is upscale, it is not a pretentious, plastic, pseudo French meat market... More

This is one of the most generous places I ate at in lebanon. We went for extra last year with work and it is undeniably one of the best I have had. The service is great and punctual, the food is so tasty and a loooottt of food was left over as they really present a lot per person. Everything... More
