Cuisines: Lebanese
Dining options: Late Night
Description: A wonderful Lebanese restaurant in downtown Beirut. The food was wonderful, our favourites were the grilled halloumi cheese, cheese rolls, fatoush salad and moutabel (as well as dessert with white coffee - hot rose water). The wine was also good. The decor is quite simple and modern, not a great amount of atmosphere but it was all made up by the delicious food and wonderful service which constantly looked after us. You can also smoke shisa if you wish to. Greatly located in downtown Beirut, near the central mosque. Prices are about average for a restaurant dinner in the centre of town. It was recommended to us by Hotel Albergo, and I was very much satisfied with my evening and will definitely go back.

I love Lebanese food and I don't mean the fare served at Beirut's international hotels. Karam is an interesting 15-minute walk from the Phoenicia and St. George's, and the food is delicious, authentic and plentiful. I had a table outside for dinner in October and although the place is upscale, it is not a pretentious, plastic, pseudo French meat market... More

This is one of the most generous places I ate at in lebanon. We went for extra last year with work and it is undeniably one of the best I have had. The service is great and punctual, the food is so tasty and a loooottt of food was left over as they really present a lot per person. Everything... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night upon our visit to Beirut in June. The location is quite good, down town, at the end of a quiet pedestrian street. The food was delicious, traditional lebanese. The atmosphere on the outside area of the resaturant was beautiful & very romantic. If the weather allows I strongly recommend the outside area... More

Amazing place, such great food!! I have been living in the middle east for 5 years now and this place is tops. The kebbeh and hummus are absolutely amazing. And the kofta--I have never had better anywhere! This is a must visit if you want to have authentic high end Lebanese food! We have been here twice over the course... More

Great setting, great lebanese food. One of the best Lebanese restaurants around for sure. You could go there with family, friends or even with your soulmate. Your typical Lebanese restaurant but with a more updated setting to the whole restaurant which is great. Very tasty Mezza and a couple of desserts are a must!

Karam serves a huge variety of Mezza, grills and home made dishes. Everything tasted exceptionally delicious and definitely one if the best places I have been to being Lebanese. Come here and you won't be disappointed.
