Me and my friends were very keen of couqley's cuisine, and used to go there very often, then suddently, the food started to change, the ambiance, the service, everything became very bad. I was very disappointed to see this drastic change happen. Hope it will go back to the way it was.

Dear Lola, We sincerely apologize for your below-standard experience. There is no excuse for slipping up on quality and consistency in either branch, however from time to time mistakes do happen. Without honest and constructive feedback from esteemed guests such as yourself we would not be able to continuously improve! We would like to thank you again for your comment.... More

We just went to this great French bistro. The food and service are really good. I tried the steak and frites. The meat was super tender, the fries were great and the side salad ,that comes with the meal,is really good.If you reserve your table online you'll get free desert! The crème brûlée is amazing and the pain perdu is also... More

Some items are good, some not so much. Better for lunch or quick dinner. I would recommend the steak frites, the onion soup and the pain perdue. Not great for dates since it is a bit noisy

The set up is French bistro with a smile! However, everything else is a bit of a disappointment. The wine list is not extensive enough. We had to chose 3 bottles of wine (supposedly the manager's favorite) that were sour before settling on a decent one. They were 'vintage' white wines aka old stock. The food presentation is mouth-watering, the... More

I went to Couqley to celebrate my birthday with my family. We tried many items from the menu and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Although there was one hiccup.. I'm a pasta fanatic and the penne arrabiata just didn't do it for me. For the main course I had a filet which just melts in your mouth and i... More

We discovered Couqley in the Alleyway by accident. What a wonderful discovery. We always have a bottle of French white bordeaux. We have eaten lunch, dinner and brunch and love them all. The bloody mary with brunch is wonderful. The atomsphere is great and you might think that you were in a small out of the way place in Paris.... More

I dined here last week. The food was fine but nothing special. I had the steak frites, and the fries weren't all that tasty, just okay. My dining partner had the chicken with wild rice and thought it was good. We had the mixed field greens and grilled legumes as sides - dressing too heavy on the first, and veggies... More
