Very few places that I've been to (globally) offer a real gourmet meal minus the gourmet meal bill. Couqley somehow manages to always match or exceed my expectations, which is why I make it a point to visit on every single one of my Beirut trips, and recommend it to all my friends and family. The steak frites is delicious,... More

It used to be better.. They have good salads, average steak & frite and pain perdu which was the first and the best in town but not anymore.

The waiters are extra nice, helpful and knowledgable, great costumer service from a staff who know exactly what they're doing. Ambiance... More

I went there on my girlfriend's birthday. I reserved a table for two and told them to surprise her with a (must try) Pain Perdu. The birthday celebration was cute (for a bistro) and the food as well as the waiters' friendliness and discipline were top notch. It's not just one thing, it's the whole experience that is cause for... More
