It was a great place to have a date in. The service, atmosphere, were great, also it has the most amazing and delicious steak plates ever. I highly recommend this cozy place.

Been several times to the Gemmayzeh outlet, and yesterday had dinner with friends at the Dbaye outlet. Perfect service, excellent food, a very decent ratio quality / price.

Nice cuisine and good service. The smoking section is nearly closed by plastic curtains , that make cigar smoking hard to support! Please put at least a sign : no cigar smoking.

Couqley never disappoints. This might sound crazy, but I went for lunch AND dinner on my last trip to Beirut and it wasn't enough. There are 10 restaurants I always recommend to people traveling to Beirut and Couqley is definitely in the top 3. Whatever you do, have the pain perdu for dessert; you'll never forgive yourself if you don't.

If you are looking for a great ambiance and excellent food, this is the place to be! I can't wait for my next trip to Lebanon to introduce it to my husband. Steak Frites for dinner and Pain Perdu for dessert... Simply beautiful!

Beside being one of the best restaurants in Beirut, the fact that Couqley has separate smoking and non-smoking sections gives it a big plus. Quality of food, service and prices are excellent. My only comment is about the lack of low-calorie desserts.
