Visited Jounieh branch. Our second visit. The restaurant setting and outside terrace are excellent . The food was NO FLAVOR. FATTOUCH was so sweat, Tabouleh with no oil / salt / pepper. Grilled meat was ok , chicken taste below average. Hommes was good, and potato cubes offered with main dishes was not good idea. Prices are acceptable and service... More

I do enjoy sitting in Beirut's down town at the only remaining restaurant. Al Balad meaning (down town) is one of my favorite Lebanese food resto. they showed consistency in terms of service and food quality throughout the years. they were the pioneers in such concept for Lebanese dishes. All the dished which I have tried are tasty and fresh.... More

We really enjoyed our lunch at Al Balad both times we have visited. The standard mezza is excellent--good hummus, fatoush, etc. The mixed grill could be improved with slightly higher quality meat for the kofta, but this is a minor complaint. Highly recommended!

Delicious experience with a friend. Everything we tried was spot on and I loved that we could order several things and share.

Food tasted very good but we waited an eternity for hot bread to arrive then all of a sudden we had enough hot bread to feed three tables. Service is poor. We even had to pay some plates we didnt order.

I am writing this comment in order to share with you the most humiliating inappropriate experience that a bad restaurant Manager or staff can make you live and which can affect your vision to a brand or restaurant image. My wife and I decided, with our 4 months old kid, to try Al Balad latest branch in Dbaye (in the... More

I visited with my family the Jounieh-Sahel Alma branch on Sunday the 6th of October. The team was hospitable, helpful and very friendly and provided an excellent service. The food was appetizing, served on time and as requested. One of my favorite Lebanese restaurants that I highly recommend.
