This was definitely the most expensive restaurant that I have ever eaten in that did not serve alcohol. The food was quite good, but it was really more of a cultural experience. Don't miss the opportunty to have desert (in my case just coffee) on the upper level of the ship.

My husband and I comment often on our experiences here. Love the ship, atmosphere and food! The wait staff is very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this for all the above reasons. Our food has always been good, so much so, we look forward to each return trip!

A wonderful dhow is a very atmospheric location to have a special dinner with friends. I had the pleasure of eating at Al Boom recently and was charmed by the location and the attention to detail of the staff. The food was excellent especially the starter buffet and desert selections. Do go on an empty stomach!

Really nice venue, good for ambiance and novelty value! Nice and simple too, two price points for your main course, then buffet starters and desert are included. Unfortunately the food isn't as good as you might hope for the price, we had the steak and it wasn't great, sides were ok but not too exciting. Buffet starters were again good,... More

It is great. Cold cuts and seafood buffets. Choice of main course. All inclusive in one price. Including drinks. The restaurant is an old boom (ship), the food is offered in the boat. You can enjoy your tea or cofee on deck. Two settings for dinner 7 and 9 pm. Try it and I am sure you will enjoy.

The Al Boom is a full sized replica of a 18-19 th C Arab trading dhow. It was traditionally built in Calicut, India, in 1979 using centuries old shipbuilding techniques still practised there, sailed across the Indian Ocean, and dry-docked to become Kuwait's premier ship restaurant. I visit Kuwait once or twice a year, and although Kuwait City has many... More

You can had dinner here occasionally. The range is a bit high. The quality and quantity of food are pretty much satisfying.

If you are in Kuwait, I think yoou should pay this restaurant a visit. It's located inside a ship which gives you a sensation of the sea. The food was good too, yet am not a fish fan
