Its supposed to be a fine dining restaurant , the decor is good the menu seems promising and innovative . The execution of the menu is a bit hit and miss. The quality is not quite there . The service is over attentive , trying to make up for what the food lacks perhaps. I cannot say the food is... More

I went to Mezzaluna when I was pregnant with my twins and I was picky by then, I tried the sirloin steak and it was the tastiest I've ever tried. When I asked for the dessert the manager came to me stating that what I was ordered had alcohol, which was so nice of the staff. Great saff, great food.... More

I have never heard of dining in Bahrain that got universal acclaim. I lived in Bahrain three years (just moved) and any place you mentioned - Bushido, Monsoon, Gusto and even Mezzaluna - seem to get only lovers or haters. Count me as a lover of Mezzaluna. My wife would agree. She usually eats fish in fine dining restaurants and... More

Check with them for special events. They usually have a look a like singer performing live at the restaurant. The ambiant is of a typical old arabic houses with a modern twist. Food is good if you like european dishes. They serve alcohol too.

I ate here recently with my wife and while the service was very good (they were a bit TOO attentive, but that's MUCH better than the alternative), the food was okay. The decor is a wide-open space with A LOT of tables thrown together - it seems they're really trying to maximize the use of that space without offering the... More

This restaurant is usually empty the food is average, but no one wants to go to an empty restaurant and eat alone. If you are looking to go on a date with out anyone knowing... go there no one will see you!

Top fine cuisine performed by a proper french chef... perfect dishes, from starter to dessert, associating modern and authentic cuisine. Try the Slow cooked meat, the boullabaise, .... Excellent service, location, charming dining room and last but not least prices are reasonable. If lucky, the Chef would come and explain the dishes ... I've been going to this restaurant for... Only ever visited Mezzaluna once, dark and dull, the steak was a disaster. Hard to find but won't be looking again.
