Good reliable japanese restaurant inside the Gulf hotel . I have dined here often and do so when I want somewhere quiet and special. They use only the best imported ingredients which is reflected in the price. Everything they do is good . The service is good and the restaurant comfortable.

The sushi and sashimi was outstanding. The best Hamachi we have had in the Middle East. Take a couple of hours and enjoy the ambiance and the company you are with.

If you are graving for Japanese food, Sato is the best in Bahrain. Our waitress was amazing, Arenden

My favorite restaurant in Bahrain! The best Yakisoba I have had since being in Japan! The sushi is the best around and the ambiance takes me back to Japan each time I visit!

It is one of my favorite restaurants in the GCC. The staff is like a family taking care of us. With the new chef in place we can see the beautiful presentation of the food. The quality of the food is excellent. We feel that the prices went a bit high.

Having worked and visited Bahrain on a few occasions over the past years, I always seem to call in at Sato authentic Japanese restaurant, from start to finish the warm and friendly welcome that you receive from the staff is second to none! apart from maybe the Famous Glenegles in Scotland, but I have to say that! Because I am a Scotsman,... More

Maybe because i did not have the chance to order my own dinner (we were in a bussness dinner and the menu was set). But i did not enjoy the food as I normally do in the japanese restaurant. To many garlic and onion and not a nice sushi.

Sato's food and reputation have been very good for as long as I remember. The new menu has been simplified and the quality has improved from a few years ago. The sushi smells fresh and generally you can't go wrong with whats on offer. My only complain was with the hand rolled maki, the Nori was not very crisp.
