This is a traditional Saudi Arabian restaurant where EVERYTHING is traditional, from the food, decor (think 1950's Riyadh) & dinning style (on the floor). It does not seem to have a website, which is why I think I haven't seen any foreigners there. This is a hidden gem I believe particularly western visitors would enjoy. Truelly authentic.

Loved eating here! This is a traditional Saudi style restaurant, where you sit on the floor with rugs and pillows. Picture menu helped us make our choices. Food was quite good, overall.

I have been hearing about the Najd restaurant since I came to Saudi Arabia one year ago and finally last night I had the opportunity to go there with a group of 11 other friends. I had been told to expect to be eating my food, while sitting on the floor with all of the food laid out in the... More

its a quaint place, set up in traditional saudi style, seating is on the floor, all saudi dishes, pretty tasty. they serve camel in case you want to try. they have private rooms which are nicer than the outdoorish waiting area.

Have been to both Najd Village restaurants in Riaydh, and both were a good experience. Nice deco, friendly staff and excellent food at extremely low prices. For some strange reason though, the camel meat is always sold out... Be aware that the one just North of Panorama Mall is for men only, while the one on Abu Bakr road (just... More

Go to this mesmerizing place and enjoy eating the best food with the locals and like the locals. We sat on the floor at our own reserved space on luscious rugs and pillows. The ffod was very plentiful and delicious and spanned the spectrum of everything that my friends had recommended I try. Intense flavors with perfect spices. An experience... More

If you have not experienced Saudi food in a Saudi environment, this place is an appropriate choice for such experience. The specific restaurant design and atmosphere contribute to the experience.

Went here for a dinner with a client who recommended it. The food is all local and quite good. The atmosphere is a bit over the top touristy, but that kind of thing can sometimes be fun.

The first visit was amazing...and then it was down-hill from there onwards. This restaurant has great promise. A delightful Najdi mud and straw building with the traditional architecture complete with courtyard and water features providing natural air-conditioning. In the family section private rooms are available, potentially making this a fun evening out. Yes...it was fun at first...progressively however the food... More

I like food plain, simple and well cooked. I love cooking and am very unadventurous, so when travelling to KSA on business, I was a little concerned about the reputation of Saudi cuisine... The whole experience of dining was simply exceptional. The building is old and well maintained, with just the right level of 'history'. As I was with a... More
