Description: This is a traditional Saudi Arabian restaurant where EVERYTHING is traditional, from the food, decor (think 1950's Riyadh) & dinning style (on the floor). It does not seem to have a website, which is why I think I haven't seen any foreigners there. This is a hidden gem I believe particularly western visitors would enjoy. Truelly authentic.

I like this place for the ambience, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The food is good, but doesn't match the expectation it raises with the ambience.

Wide variety of food Very delicious dishes Must try the bread, personally can't stop! A lot of food, so what they say is good for one is good for 2 at least. The 4 persons meal "Sufra" offers 12 different dishes good for 6 hungry adults at least. Floor seating in traditional like atmosphere Not expensive for the quality and... More

With the traditional decorations and outdoor seats, Najd Village served wide selection of Saudi Food. The worst thing about it is that it is little bit expensive

If you stay in Riyadh this is a must seen. First when you enter you can sit near the entrance to have arabic coffee. Then you can go and eat in the patio where of course there are no proper table. You eat on the floor with your bare hands and the pure authentic arabic tradition. If you like arabic... More

The best .. If you like traditional food that is mean you are at the best place for Saudi traditional food; however, their atmosphere it would take you all the way 30 years ago .. I use to go their twice a month for their food and atmosphere ..

Had lunch here this week & really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is the traditional mix of indoor & outdoor rooms where as per the custom you sit on cushions to eat the food. We went for coffee to start & tea to finish with some great lamb dishes in between. Food was very tasty and the amounts were more... More

As an expat it was nice to experience traditional arabic food in an authentic setting. Tried many different dishes and liked most. Also liked the Arabic hospitality with Saudi Qawa and dates.

This is the place to go to experience traditional Saudi food and traditional way of eating. It is fun to go as a big group - you can get the set platter that has a variety of dishes and you get to sit on a carpeted floor and eat dishes the traditional Saudi way. A tip - there is a... More
