A most wonderful lunch with the most wonderful food

My tour guide brought me here telling me this was the best place to get good Jordanian food - he was not wrong. The food was wonderful - the service exemplary. Haret Jdoudna should appeal to a wide range of visitors - I saw both other westerners, but also groups of locals, when I was there for dinner during a solo trip. The wait staff offered menu suggestions, and although I was there for local fare seemed to have some choices for those not wanting to be adventurous (kids options, a... More

Without a doubt for me the best restaurant in Madaba. I have visited and eaten twice here and will go again if I return in the future. The visit this day was on a Saturday and the place was full of locals and a few tourists. If the locals love it so much, it proves its great. My only downside... More

I liked everything about this place, the authenticity, the value for money, the service..., the whole nine yards! However, finding the location is a challenge every time, and I am a frequent guest.

We had the opportunity to visit this restaurant a few days ago while traveling through Madaba, Jordan. It came recommended to us by some folks who had eaten here before. It appears that this was once a house, but most of the restaurant is outside in courtyards and patio decks. We sat in the front courtyard under a huge, shady... More

Been here twice now, my most recent wAs a couple days ago. Amazing local food. More than anything, it is fresh, and you can tell. A bit of a drive from Amman but if you are going to Mt. Nebo or Madaba it is worth your time to stop and have a meal. Service is wonderful and they have a... More

Great atmosphere, wonderful food and great service! So glad we dined here. Our last night in Jordan we ate here with our guide and what a spread. Everything cooked to perfection. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Jordanian meal.

We had a dinner in this restaurant with my wife. The atmosphere is quite good, unlike the other restaurants you are not in a shisha smoke cloud. Food was good, we had soup (was not bad) and ordered 2 cold starters and a salad, drank water. Afterwards tea and shisha. We paid 34JD. The price was a little expensive but... More

This restaurant is a find. Initially you wonder if it is set for tourists, which undoubtedly it is, but as the meal progresses you realise that every culinary dish is of an extremely high standard. Everyone in their travels to this country must sample the fare here to taste the true flavours of extremely well prepared and cooked food.

Came for dinner here one night as it was recommended by our guide. Atmosphere was nice, we ate early but it was getting busier as we were leaving. We had starters, mains and an 2 alcohlic drinks and total was 40 JD. Food was good, lamb was tasty but chicken was a bit dry, but the setting was lovely. Staff... More
