Great to have locals guide us

We had a wonderful meal. Grilled chicken, lamb and more were prepared well. The variety of salads, bread and tasty extras made for a memorable meal. I would do away with the French fries on the mixed grill platter. Glad we had locals to guide us in ordering.

We tried Mansaf, a Jordanian traditional dish, and we liked it. The bbq however is average. We've had much better bbq in Amman. The atmosphere and setting are nice. Service should be improved as no menus were given to us and the waiter just told us what they're offering. It's a pricey restaurant actually but it's worth trying.

This restaurant is typically decorated with Jordanian style furniture, with a small stand to buy sand bottles and other Jordanian souvenirs. Although a bit expensive, but the grilled meat is exquisite and food tables are typically Arabian which gives it a special atmosphere for food sharing!

They have a nice selection of appetisers and most of them taste good the meat was okay but it is really pricey. It is a nice place to take the family but do note they serve sheesha.

Jordanian students from my husband's class brought us here to thank us for his teaching the class at UJ. The seating was Middle Eastern couches with two big metal platters in the middle of the table. The food was brought on trays which were set on the metal platters and the waiters served everything to us. We had lamb shanks... More

We were there on a beautiful spring evening. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive. There were seven of us and we must have had at least four seeing to our every need. This is a restaurant for the locals, but tourists like it too. We sat outdoors under the tent. A fountain was nearby. It was fascinating... More

The tent like setting created a cozy atmosphere for diners. We have visited Reem alBawadi several times in the past few months. We've had invited guests to dinner with us and they all gave high marks on the food as well as the restaurant as a whole. Reem also offers an out door dining area which is wonderful for kids... Pros: Good food; known for it's kebab and grill so just order that, hummus was tasty The service was pleasant and attentive (sometimes too attentive as they were hanging around and staring at us when we were finished) Nice decor, traditional low seating Cons: Smokey: We were apparently in a non-smoking area but the men at the adjacent table lit...
