Excellent Carnivore Fare

I loved their Brisket, but I am addicted to their ribs, excellent quality meat, good value for money and they are simply the nicest people around.

I love This restaurant Food is delicious, overpriced, clean, service is average I really hate not to be seated outdoor every time I come to this restaurant. They open it only at particular time. its very crowded. I highly recommend it Try to order :- Musabbaha, Falafel, Hummos, Foul, and 2 cups of tea with mint.

I decided with my wife and 2 daughters to experince Amman in the morning and have a breakfast at Abu Jbara in Madina Mounawara street. We were surprised to see such long queue in the morning to have some Foul, Homos, Fatteh or Falafel. We waited about 15 minutes to have a table in the restuarant. We all enjoyed the... More

The usual Arabian food (houmous, ful, falafal, hot bread) done well in a bright, airy and clean restaurant. The food can be eaten in or taken away, I always find the staff very helpful although a bit of Arabic is helpful. The prices are cheap and the restaurant won't scare people new to the Middle East. My family have eaten... More

Abu Jbara is the best restaurant for popular food in Jordan. it has the tastiest felafel ever. The prices compared with other restaurants which provide the same kind of food are a little bit high.

Always a winner when it comes to traditional Arabic food. Very affordable with a huge selection: hummus, foul, falafel, everything! Not to be missed!

My sister and her daughter came for a visit in the evening, and since Me and my wife were fasting we decide to have something from Abo Jbara. I went and order Fateh : fateh is made from arabic bread soaked with the water of the boiled Hummus , mixed with Hummus topped with Snober. Of course it was delicious... More

This place is becoming an institution in Amman. I always have breakfast there when I visit Amman. They serve basic Arabic breakfast dishes: hummus, fool (fava beans), fatteh, falafel and so on. Freshly baked Arabic bread is constantly provided. So if you're looking for a fancy quiet place with ambience this is NOT it. But it is a place that... More

I always take it as a good sign when patrons can see right into the kitchen, and that is the case with this restaurant. Looking at food being prepared, it all seems super efficient and very hygenic. Speedy service from staff, who speak no or very little English. But the food is the best I have had in a very... More

Abu Jbara is by far one of the best places to have traditional breakfast food .. It is clean, food is tasty, and served quickly .. Although the service is quick, the waiters rarely speak other languages beside Arabic, also they rarely smile, and may be sometimes rude .. The place is very crowded in weekends and holidays .. Try... More
