We loved our evening at Beit Sitti! Hugely memorable and fun, and culturally rich and delicious! The entire experience was warm and inviting. We learned alot and enjoyed every minute. The meal was fantastic, but that was only part of the joy.

How many times does one have the opportunity to help prepare one's own meal in a restaurant? Here, there's that chance. One well spirited Maria will teach you and prepare together with you some typical Jordanian food. And the result was delicious, along with some local wine. If you are not familiar with Arabic food and want to know a... More

Our experience in April at Beit Sitti was a lot of fun. Our host Maria was very engaging and from the moment we arrived we were all put to work. The meal we produced was really delicious and we enjoyed eating it on a coolish evening on the terrace. If ever in Amman again we would love to go back... More

You will never get lost finding this humble home (ask any drivers and they’ll bring you), everyone's raving about it - and now I am, because it was the first time my newly-wed husband had ever cooked for me! Since our visit was during summer, we were warmly welcomed by some friendly fat cats and Amman's signature lemon-mint drink (lemonade)...a... More

What a different and fun way to go out to eat! We prepared and ate the food on a lovely terrace attached to the house. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for being entertaining, interactive and appealing.

Beit Sitti was recommended by our driver while he felt that we would like to know more about Jordan local food . This was a fun evening followed by a night life in Amman . We might some nice people and enjoyed a tasty dinner. Most of the recipes were straight forward so could be recreated at home

The best meal we had in Jordan and we helped prepare it (among herbs and plants) on a charming terrace of the Grandmother's House! Maria spoke flawless English and was so engaging. She made the experience delightful for even non-cooks.The pita bread baked in an outside oven was truly the finest I ever savored. Don't miss this rare opportunity!

Literally translated, "Beit Sitti" means "My Grandmother's house". Beit Sitti is a business built by three sisters, who's grandmother taught them to cook the food they teach us. The business is actually located in what used to be their grandmother's house, which makes the business a personal experience for the ladies running it. You can tell how much they care;... More

Really enjoyed the lesson as well as eating what we made! Helpful instructor & aides. There were 7 of us when we went, which was a great number - I understand there are often more, so I guess we were lucky! We cooked out on the terrace (with canvas overhead) as the sun went down over Amman. Very pleasant.
