I visited Sufra three times during my recent stay in Amman. They have a good menu with variety of selections. Service is really good and waiters speak English. This is a must place to visit in Amman if you want to try local foods in a nice restaurant.

Just, literally, had dinner and returned from the restaurant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We didn't have a booking and were asked to wait for 30 minutes. A glass of Lemmon juice, mixed with fresh mint and a touch of sugar- yummy. Menu was very interesting and the waiter made some great recommendations.

The food is absolutely phenomenal (come in really hungry). The atmosphere is very cosy and home like (I mean it is in a villa). A must try while in Amman!

Five expats went here for a birthday dinner - I'm visiting Jordan for a week. We had an amazing chicken and artichoke dish baked in a terracotta dish, fattoush, a great potato and egg dish, falafels, wonderful bread, a tomato and onion dish - typical arabic/mediteranean dishes and it was glorious. The food was superb and the atmosphere amazing. The... More

This may be one of the best mideast food stops in Amman. The dishes are creative, fresh, and delicious- yet retain their traditional flavors and style. The service is on point. The atmosphere is classy and chic. Clientele is "in the know" crowd. It's in a really cool setting as well. Enjoy if you have a chance while in Amman.

I have eaten at Sufra many times, for breakfast, and for dinner. I love love love this place, the breakfasts are so fresh, the Jerash Leban! wow, gorgeous, the freshly made arab bread made in the restaurant on the terrace, so yummy. Lunch or dinners, again, so many to choose from, wonderful food, like so many Jordanian mums would make,... More

This was a good surprice in the heart of Amman. The restaurant was very busy at the moment we visited the place. They however had a lot of staff, so we dit not have to wait for anything. We were served a delicious meze and some more hot dishes.

I was told how good this place was, so I decided to go check it out. The food is traditional Jordanian food which was quite tasty. The restaurant itself is an old house that was transferred to a restaurant which gives it a nice warm feeling. However, the prices are just ridiculously expensive. If one is looking for value for... This elegantly furnished restaurant is popular with locals and visitors. We were lucky to get a table. the chef saw me watching the tandoor and invited me into his kitchen. Great experience. Oh, and the food was delicious.
