Simply the best Kunafa I've ever tasted

My first visit to Jordan. I had been told about Habibah Sweets by a Jordanian friend. As I love a good Kunafa, I made it a point to visit the original restaurant near the gold market. Wow. I had half soft half hard Kunafa on our guide's recommendation. Simply the best Kunafa I've ever had... read more

Good shop with fast moving items...all arabic sweets in various shapes & sizes. Their Kunafa is extremely fast moving and a gr8 experience. Picked up a few boxes of baklawa before flying back.

I just went there with a client that was from Jordan, loved Kuanafa, I tried it in different places and although this sweet is always good, this was the best I had. Big queue but it moved fast and we ate walking through downtown.

There's nothing to say more than: "it's the best Knafeh in the world." No Knafeh ever can come close... SUPERB.

If you are in Amman, don't miss this. Let not The long lines and modest surroundings cheat you of the unbelievably delightful Jordinian savory, Knafa. Hot and straight of the girdle, served in disposable plates, Knafa is a great sweet. I loved it...

A perfectly ordinary place for a delightful Jordinian savory. Our guide Salah, a generous gentleman, stood in the quee for 10 minutes and treated us to this cheese and sugar based savory. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn't mind the long lines and loves a good treat.

Long queues outside this sweet shop after dinner are just an indication of how wonderful the sweet is. The warm gooey kanafeh is a absolutely smashing an a slightly cold night. It was a perfect ending to our dinner at Hashem. I didn't mind waiting in the long queue at all. Must try if you are there.

the locals love it, and you'll do ... great kunafeh... when you're done cross the street and go through one of those small markets in between the buildings like "sook mango (mango market"" ... that's how the market really was in the old days (im living in amman)
