If it's good enough for the current King of Jordan and his family (their photos are all over the wall) then it was definitely good enough for us. It's a cheap, good value restaurant that dishes out falafael, hummus and all sorts of dips and pitta bread. We loved it and especially the welcome from other patrons, who were smiley... More

This is an established well known falafel restaurant. It has several branches but the one in downtown Amman is of course the first and the original. No matter how you order your falafel sandwich, you will love it. My favorite is the original loaf of Arabic bread. It is still inexpensive and costs less than 50 cents.

Great little hole in the wall restaurant. No need to order, because everyone gets the same thing, including the best falafel and the best garlicky hummus you can find, for super cheap.

Great spot, always packed with locals and tourists. We ordered the fuul and hummus with some falafels. Delicious, and it comes with the standard tomatoes, vines, and lavash. Great spot for a snack or a more serious meal too -- either way, a must-stop if you're in Amman.

Fabulous street food at great prices - much better than the more pretentious meals we had in Jordan.

Nice staff, good street food and cheap prices. Definitely a nice place to go to enjoy Amman street atmosphere.

We came very early in Amman, at 6am. Only hashem was opet at this hour. Everything else opens around 9am. We had the best tea at Hashem and the best falafel. It's always crowded. A lot of locals go there to eat. Food is good and it was cheap.

We had a late night stop there and enjoyed their dishes (Falafel, humus, etc.). It is a very easy local, you go in and they bring you the mix mezes and bread. Don't forget to order tea (without sugar). We enjoyed it very much, we ate two of use 3 mezes and drank 4 teas and paid 5 JD. It... More
