This is one place in amman where a vegetarian can just step in and order and have it without questioning. Their falafel, beans and bread were just too good. Very cheap too jd8/ for us three.
Ate here twice during a one-week visit to Amman. First was for a falafel pita, second was for the entire spread of hummus, veggies, pita, falafel, etc. Very fresh, very filling, very affordable. Come hungry! King Abdullah II brought his family here during Ramadan to break the fast a few years ago. I would definitely go back.
If you want great, local food you can fill up here for under 3JD... the houmous, salads, fool etc spread just arrives and you eat it with flatbread and tea. But do be aware that this is not really a restaurant, rather a series of outdoor tables, and there are no toilets at all (they might send you round the...

Basic food, same menu for everyone (vegetarian) but choose which bits you want to have. We didn't know what to expect but given hummous, fuul, falafel, fries, salad and delicious fresh pita bread. Felafel made fresh too, you can watch. Yummy, fresh and very quick. All that plus 2 soft drinks cost us only 5JD for 2 people. We enjoyed...

Went with group of 17 friends (only 2 were vegetarian, but everyone loved it, and several of the meat eaters in our group came back repeatedly!)
Excellent fresh tasty food. Clean.
Good atmosphere for a real Jordanian experience, seated at white plastic chairs & tables in an alley way. You can scoop up the dips with...

But at these prices it is easy to see why.
What did we get for our money.
Bowl of Felafel, bowl of humus, bowl of salad (mint, onion and tomatoes), bowl of chill sauce, plate of french fries (chips) and two cans of...

Our family of 4 people had a dinner here on March 29, 2013. The waiter speaks little English, but we were managed to order our food by pointing to the dishes at other tables. The food was fresh, and good. We paid only 7JD for the whole dinner.
Very tasty food. Friendly chef made the falafel fast so no need to wait long. He gave free samples because he wanted to welcome tourists. Jordan's King and Queen ate there, got pictures hanging in the restaurant. Great price at 1JD.
The price and the food. Real Jordanian food, Falafel (the spicy ones with sesame seeds on the top were the best) hummus, tomatoes and mint salad, served with a pitta and washed down with mint tea. Excellent value..meal for two 10 euros...
