Good falafel :)

We came very early in Amman, at 6am. Only hashem was opet at this hour. Everything else opens around 9am. We had the best tea at Hashem and the best falafel. It's always crowded. A lot of locals go there to eat. Food is good and it was cheap.

We had a late night stop there and enjoyed their dishes (Falafel, humus, etc.). It is a very easy local, you go in and they bring you the mix mezes and bread. Don't forget to order tea (without sugar). We enjoyed it very much, we ate two of use 3 mezes and drank 4 teas and paid 5 JD. It... More

This restaurant is probably one of the best known places in the city. It is open 24/7 and always seems to be full of people. It attracts both locals and tourists. It offers a very simple menu which mostly consists of tea, hummus, falafel, pita, ful madames, and french fries. They also serve a plate of mint, tomato, and onion... More

If you expect a 4 star restaurant meal for 4JD, this place is NOT the place for you. But if you want a LOCAL meal and enjoy eating with locals, for almost no money, then Hashem has a table waiting for you (not really it is almost always packed). I spent 17 days in Amman and ate here several times,... More

The place wasn't bad, just wasn't as good as i was expecting after hearing so many good things about it. The falafel was just ok, and the sides were quite nice, for what your paying, it wasn't a bad meal. The french fries were terrible. A few people from my hotel and I went here one night and it was... Food was amazing. We were recommended this place by our hotel and it did not disappoint. No menu, we just sat down and we're asked if we wanted hummus, falafel, full, and pita bread for two. We said sure and next thing you know greatness was presented to us! A little chilly at night in March at least, it's outdoor... More

Hashem is an institution. The concept is simple...no menu, just staples (hummus, felafel, foul, baba ghanoush.) Great service that is always speedy. Outside tables only but lots of atmosphere. Super inexpensive.
