On the road from Aman to the airport. Very nice place, that offers traditional Arabic cuisine in a casual, garden-like setting. Completely different from all the other restaurants dur to its unique location, to the old glass factory in the same building..And ofcourse you have to try lamp, humus and the arabian style of small burgers (kofta).

After an hour of getting lost on airport highway detours (another never ending construction project) we finally found the right way and got to Kan Zaman only to find it closed for renovations. (Tried to call, no answer) Someone there told me it will be open in the summer of 2014. I was really shocked to see other reviews saying... More

How can a renovation take that long? They open in Dec 2012 again - I doubt. It has always been nice there (at least until the live singers started). I amlooking forward to go there again.

Difficult to find. Was wonderful last time we visited (quite a few years ago!). Wanted to return for an evening meal; finally found it, only to find out that it is closed for renovations. We had tried to call to make a reservation but found 2 different numbers, neither of which answered.

Loved the atmosphere & architecture. Here was introduced to two knew favorites, Minty Lemonade and Zaatar...will eat anything with zaatar. Jordanian hospitality was fabulous! Hope to return one day.

The location is very nice and the decor to die for. Unfortunately the food is not so good and very expensive.

Approx 15 km to the south of Amman. It used to be a caravanserai 150 years ago and host now a restaurant and coffee shop. I would recommend the Arabic snacks and baked goods. Advice to go in the evening time and enjoy the classical Arabic music.

I was so disapointed and even embarressed when I invited a friend who is visiting from South Africa to this resturants especially that I was telling... More
