disapointed

we used to dine a lot at tawaheen in the past, it was much better than now. service becomes poor, food is not tasty as before-any more, and prices are even higher. too much shisha and poor ventilation. we like this place, I hope the management will fix the problems.

Came in a bus with around 20 people and were quickly served. Had the set menu with lots of different appetizers all of them great. Then had a meat trio with fries and vegetables. This was all served family style and looked to be what most of the local families were having.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our guide. It is a popular place with local Jordanians and it's obvious as to why. The food was great! There are multiple complementary courses we were not expecting, such as a salad, fruit with custards and a sweets plate. The bread baked there is some of the best we had in jordan.... More

The staff were very friendly, the food was great, and the free fruit is awesome. This place is much better than other like restaurants in Amman. Paying with card is kind of awkward though.

We recently visited this restaurant for lunch in a group of four. The mese was outstanding especially the spicy mini sausages and hummus. For the main we all had the mixed grill of lamb, beef and chicken, which were presented in kebab form without the skewers, which together with the accompanying sauces were delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the quality.... What does one do when there is a snow blizzard raging outside- eat and eat we did! The restaurant is traditional, staff are local and so too is the chef! With Arabic music playng in the background we sat at a traditional table with traditional chairs and pillows and were served lavish servings of food- a feast fit for King... More

Dined as a family of eight. Food was tasty and value for money. Service was excellent. Wide variety on menu that catered for dietary restrictions within our group. Complimentary salad and sweet dish were lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant

Great place. Jordanian Barbecued nears and classic middle eastern appetisers all served by incredibly attentive staff as if you were a guest in their own home. Don't fill yourself up too quickly as the food just keeps coming. Great place with reasonable prices. Dry though.
