My wife and I arrived in Amman just before lunch and our hotel was just across the road from Jafra so it was a convenient introduction to Jordanian cuisine!! Pros: Our meal was great (wonderful hummus and kofta like dishes - bread was superb and baked on-site), good value (JOD22 for the both of us), view from the upstairs outdoor... More

Great food, nice staff, reasonable prices. Go for the fried cheese and the ceramic pot that they open once served.

Like most of the restaurants in Amman, they have hookah, and most of the tables ask for it, so the place can get a little smoggy. The food is good, with higher prices than other restaurants, but most of things taste fresh and are well made. I've been there twice, ordered a pizza and a chicken with vegetables, and both... More

Nice place to sit with friends if you like Argeelah, good service and nice waiters. Food is not bad for the price given. All in all, the atmosphere is lovely

Despite the large number of smokers and shisha addicts inside the restaurant, but its considered one of the nicest restaurants in Amman, fast food service, delicious food, the quality of the restaurant is generally above 90%, and the prices are very acceptable. If you're on a trip in the city of Amman, I advise you to visit this restaurant.

What a great evening we spent at Jafra. Our wonderful Jordanian host ordered a selection of traditional kebabs, mtabel, salads and a wonderful lamb dish that was served in a sealed clay pot. Our server cracked the clay pot clean around the middle with a flourish of his wrist - very cool. The ambiance was fantastic too. It was very... More

Jafra is located right at the entrance of downtown amman. The atmosphere is nice, albeit a little busy, the live music is entertaining, save for the frequent breaks for the Sana Halwa song to be blasted on the sound system (Happy birthday). The food is tasty, pricey for downtown but not in comparison to anything in europe. I'd recommend it.
