Creative

Very creative food. Service is friendly, but not always professional (dishes were served ahead of time, when asked not to). Menu was a bit confusing, and dishes were not always built for sharing although they're meant to. Overall a very good dining experience.

Wonderful restaurant close to the David Intercontinental Hotel, next door to the Dan Hotel and not far from Jaffa. Great restaurant, good atmosphere and decor, frequented by smart locals. Did not feel touristy at all. Food superb but nothing is cheap on the menu. The asparagus first course as well as the salmon tartare were done to perfection. The service... More

Depending on what you order at Herbert Samuel, you could have a wonderful meal, or something very average. Reservations are a must and the view is only available from the second floor. The bar is fun to sit at for your meal if you are alone or with one other person, If you want to stay for longer than two... More

We spent 3 hours at Harbert Samuel restaurant for a romantic dinner and enjoyed every second of it. This was our first time there. We sat at the bar's corner and could sense a unique atmosphere of perfection. From welcome cocktail through olives, breads, wine, starters, main courses all the way to deserts and hot drinks all was special and... More

Visited a few times, for dinner and lunch. Food quality was always top notch, from starters through main and up to deserts. Had steaks which were cooked perfectly, and a few amazing starters (tomato salad, shrimps curry). Deserts are very special, and probably the chef's expertise. The restaurant has different menus for every day of the week so it's worth... More

The place is very nice and welcoming, the waiters were nice but the food was in very small portions . We came in hungry and we could not feel full, even after all the portions were eaten ! The food was nice but not great and we felt that we might chose to eat Falafels instead !

Herbert Samuel offers outstanding cuisine. Every dish was exceptionally, except I would skip the Sashimi next time.

Went HB for dinner. Pretty impressed with two of their dishes. The egg plant was done in two flavours.. As a creamy base to go with yellow tail & Tuna sashimi, & you must go with the smoked egg plant mix with some spicy pepper & honey that I originally thought were just side deco. The Jerusalem artichoke & chestnut... More

Had breakfast on few days and a dinner with group of friends. Very friendly staff with a wide variety of choice. the best would be white fish with black source and chocolate egg as desert
