Very nice...

We had a nice table, overlooking the large bar area. The tuna appetizer was amazing. I ordered the sea bass and although I knew it had bones, it was almost inedible due to the ratio of fish to bones. Had some more bread and left the fish. Hubby had the scallops and much better. A large table with 3... read more

This restaurant is such a deception! The place looks so old fashioned... the staff is badly organized...the napkins (white and green) are just a joke I thought for a moment I was at the cafeteria... the food? nothing gastronimique about this menu! it's really prententious I think. You have a ton of Restaurants in TLV much less "sophisticated" and where... More

the Herbert Samuel restaurant is located by the Mediterranean Sea, about a block away from the Dan Panorama hotel. That's about the only good thing I can say about it. They put sample menus in the hotel but the actual prices are much higher than those shown on the samples. The place itself is sterile, almost cold in appearance. They... More

A modern upscale restaurant with international dishes. Across from one of the best beaches in Tel Aviv with a good view. This chef is a judge in a local food reality show. If you want to go international, this is the place.

We've had some pretty spectacular meals, but the overall experience at Herbert Samuel was one of the best I've ever had. As luck would have it, we were asked if we'd like to sit at the bar. Some of my best dining experiences have been at the bar. Bartenders just know how to take care of customers. You don't have... More

We had celebrated my husband's birthday and ordered a table for three ahead of time. The place is not too spacey but very much inviting and cozy with its fine decor and perfection for small details. We had a three-course meal with wine and enjoyed every dish. The menu changes everyday and has a large variety of appetizers and several main... More

11 of us shared a great family style meal. One member of our party is gluten free and they were easily able to accommodate her. The servers were very knowledgeable about everything and instead of ordering off the menu we had them prepare a family style meal with the chef's recommendations. A few favorites: several different raw fish dishes with... More

Had a dinner with business colleagues. From the appetizers to the desserts a great experience. A friend had suggested that Tel Aviv might not be the best place to get steak, but my experience here was positive.

Had a number of tapas-sized starters which were all beautifully arranged and very tasty. Main course did not disappoint, as well as the two deserts we ordered. Deserts are not too sweet, which we like. All dishes have a combination of local surprising ingredients, fresh and ver colorful. Staff is extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommended.

This is good casual lunch place but simply insane prices for dinner. They charge all food usually complimentary ( bread, olives etc ) coming to the table before ordering. Dinner for 2 with simple appetizers and main course was priced at $200.00 ( half bottle of table wine, no dessert ). Lamb main course was $70.00 ( with low quality... More
