Rude, rude rude, poor service, overpriced and the ambiance is questionable. Avoid this place, so you do miss the good places around.

Nice little restaurant with attentive staff, lots of locals eat there. Food is very good (especially the homemade spaghettini). Delicious wine and we got a free desert.

The restaurant was recommended to us in a guide. It would have been hard to find otherwise, the patio being kind of hidden behind a small entryway. The atmosphere at the place was really nice and romantic and seemed very authentic.. The food and meat was very good. We were also very satisfied with our waitress, she translated some choices... This cute little restaurant was billed in Time Out as a romantic destination, however you feel as though the dining experience here is a bit of a love triangle, love at first sight with the food but the service is unrequited. After being forcefully recommended an outside seating option, our servers were apathetic, bordering on ignorant. Wine plonked unceremoniously on... More

It's not just the food. This place is trendy and fresh and very artistic. The menu changes akmost in a daily basis and they use an old typewriter to print it every day. This is the place to meet the right people and one can have long and relaxed rendez-vous with friends. I prefer to order a good bottle of wine... More

Nothing to do with the restaurant's quality, but it was nearly impossible to find though we passed it several times. First: Lonely Planet's map inaccurately placed the restaurant about 2 blocks east of where it is. Second: Addresses on the street are a little mixed up: number 51 was about 3 blocks west of 52. Finally, there is no outdoor... More

We have been in the area a couple of months yet it was a while before we noticed this place. It really doesn't look much from the street. We entered the cool interior from the stifling Summer heat and realised we were the only diners. We had popped in previously when we followed other people in just to see where... More

Joz ve loz is centrally located steps away from Rothchild Avenue. The menu is determined every day and they try to offer dishes that are ´out of the ordinary´. The prices are relatively high for Tel Aviv. However, even if the food was not bad at all, it is not amazing compared to other restaurants in this price category. It... More

After hearing about this for so long we decided to be spontaneous and come on Friday evening to J&L. Surprisingly they had a place for two a few hours in advance, even though it's probably the busiest evening of the week. We were seated on the upper gallery floor and immediately noticed the inconsistency in the restaurant's furniture that some... More
